Who was the most famous person you have ever met?

For me it was George Bush, Sr. It was many years ago when he just finished his term and was settling down in Houston. It was a Memorial Park, a park where everyone runs. I was at the stretching area when everyone looks up and he jogged by. I started running and caught up with him, saying hello and gave him a compliment on how he handled the Desert Storm operation and welcomed him to Houston. He said thanks. I didn't want to look like a stalker so I ran on ahead. There was a secret service agent running a few feet behind him.

The second one was Clay Walker. He was filming his "This woman and this man" video at the building I used to work at. Just briefly said hello with a few of my co-workers when he walked by. Well, he's not as famous, but hotter!

I was once met Joe Nuxell...he pitched for the Cincinatti Reds. I am a Cubs fan and went to a Reds/Cubs game in Cincinatti and he was there signing copies of his book. I stood in line to get a his autograph for my brother-in-law on behalf of my sister for a Christmas present. I guess he was really young when he started playing and play during WWII I think...I took some heat for being a Cubs fan getting a Reds' players autograph but when I walked up to him he looked up at me and said, "Hey Cubbie". Pretty cool!! He has now passed away...only met him in that moment but definitely a cool guy!

When I was a boy I met Duncan Renaldo who played "The Cisco Kid" on TV when he appeared at a children's function in Michigan ... and as a teenager before I became physically-challenged I met Jayne Mansfield when she appeared at a store opening in a shopping mall in Mansfield, Ohio ... and as an adult I met Christian singer/composer Phil Keaggy backstage at a concert he gave on tour in Ohio at one of the area churches, Margo!!! :dancingp::dancingp::dancingp::applause::applause::applause: I LOVE, LOVE, BAREFOOT LOVED meeting Phil Keaggy the BEST!!! :hearts::hearts::hearts:

Steve

I've met Roy Rogers Jr. (Dusty) in person at the Roy Rogers museum in Branson, MO. He's very nice and down-to-earth. There is actually a pretty neat story that I could tell about that meeting, but it's rather long.

I've also met Alex Plasschaert, a Hollywood choreographer and dancer. Once he "retired", he spent 10 years choreographing "Singing Christmas Tree" programs and passion plays for a huge church in Memphis, TN. That's how I met him. A friend of mine went to that church, and she took me to rehearsal while I was visiting her one year.

Supposedly, I've met Kenny Rogers (the country singer/actor), but I was really young and don't remember it. I do personally know his sisters (Barbara and Sandy), though, since they go to my church.

Oh, and I've met lots of "famous" people in the piano pedagogy and church music world...but it's unlikely that non-music people would have ever heard of them!

Oh my gosh!

I forgot to mention - I had lunch with Dennis Quaid's mom about five years ago. She goes to the church I once went to. It was me, her and a good friend of mine. She is very sweet and proper, very much a lady.

This was before the accident with Dennis's children. Thank God they are ok!

I grew up with Randy Travis; Lived right down the road from him. He was a few grades below me in school-------Got lots of pics with him and my family( both before and after he hit it big).

I still talk to his sister often. After his mom died, he gave his life to Christ (I heard). Recently I've seen him sing on John Hagee's broadcast.

I've worked for a few really big catering companies as a banquet server and that would often put me in the same room with famous folk.

I've worked many Indy 500's, parties and and have have served many celebrities but I have actually met Danica Patrick and I've served and spoken to Tim Allen.
