Chuck,

You are correct about my sarcasmit is something I need to work on. Ive decided that I will no longer post or add to any posts in this Forum. You and I have gotten into a feud that started when you made false statements about my Church and it has gotten way out of hand.

I never intended to have to defend my Church and my Beliefs to my own Brothers and Sisters in Christ. All along I have asked for research to be done before making statements. It seems that The Truth is of no Importance and what is more important is justifying ones position.

Ever since Luther Rebelled and started his own church, we Christians have been bickering and fighting amongst ourselves. Ever since the Authority of the Church has been usurped and given to individualsSacred Scripture has undergone numerous different interpretations and is still a point of contention today.

Men will always be able to use clever logic and subterfuge to disrupt Light and Clarity. I find that as I grow older that my ability to put up with ignorance and plain stupidity has diminished tremendously. Being smart is no guarantee that you will do or say the right thing. Common Sense is what is needed. Calling yourself a Christian does not offer any guarantee either (in fact I am a Christian because I tend to do and say stupid things and need forgiveness).

I will say a prayer for you Chuck and (here comes my sarcasm) when God speaks to you on your own personal walkie talkieplease ask Him to help me.

I will also pray for all of the other Christians here on this site that have to put up with your childish need to be the center of attention and your Righteous Retribution.

As for those that I have offendedI apologize (except for PCMan, hes Weird!) There are some Outstanding and Wonderful Christians on this site. I will miss you.

Dear Steve,

*First allow me to say, I don't think anyone wants you to go, I certianly don't! I consider you a brother and enjoy your company on this forum.

*As for the sarcasm, I have enjoyed your wit, but as they say ; a little, goes along ways. I do agree it has gotten out of hand, and I have been sarcastic with you also. My apologies.

*As for my statements ; I research what I have said. I have a small religious library so I do not have to wade through internet heresies. I have always backed my statements with scripture or decrees from popes or catholic councils.

*If you would practice "don't ask don't tell" concerning the catholic church all this could of been avoided. Being catholic is your business but when it is preached it becomes all of all of ours . To explain you feel you must defend the roman catholic church, I feel I must defend the church I see descibed in scripture; the spiritual church of Jesus.

* Again all of this could have been circumvented had you only cited Vatican II Council and that you believed it. This Council was the first step for unity between catholics and protestants. You may not realize this; but by not alining yourself with Vatican II you declare anathema on all of us.

Steve,

I would enjoy a real open and honest discussion or even debate, there is even a section for that venue on this forum. I don't see any reason why we cannot take advantage of what is offered, If you believe in Vatican II; I think it would be a very short discussion ending in agreement. The choice is yours, love to have you stay and really discuss or not, the roman catholic church. I will drop the whole matter if you like...that is until roman catholicism is preached. Fair enough?...friends?

Dear Saved,

Stop what? Stop trying to work out our differences? Stop apologizing to each other? Sister this is where the rubber meets the road, this is how we grow, mature and uphold each other as brothers. It is not done by cutting off all communication. God is all about reconciliation, so should we!

Your "apology" is about as sincere as a stick! When every word

out of your mouth is dripping with sarcasm insincerity and disdain!

Your Not fooling anyone especially God! Although you may be fooling

yourself.

Savedbygrace, you cannot control what anybody on here says or does. Your melodramatic post does not help the situation. Let them handle their issues, they are clearly both intelligent men who only want what is best. I agree that reconciliation is a far more pleasing outcome than rejection, but I understand Archs predicament. It is never a comfortable place to feel you or your faith is being questioned.

Saved, please, Please, PLEASE let two grown brothers discuss and debate. Contrary to what you have said, Jesus is very much interested in reconciliation, and in "iron sharpening iron". COVERING UP PROBLEMS NEVER FIXES THEM. Can I get an Amen?

Dead on brother. The tactic of the enemy is to get people harboring resentment etc. instead of dealing with it.

Jesus directly commands that if we remember an aught between us and a brother we go seek to reconcile BEFORE we offer gifts to GOD!!

You know what I see? I see 'churches' as they are called, full of people who have issues with other people. YET they come trying to offer praises to God.

No wonder their praises stink.

They are in direct disobedience to Jesus. That's why they have to hype up emotional experiences..and it's why they are not assembling for the purposes that God wants to call 'his assembly'.

Maturing together is a process. It's not going to happen instantly. Everyone wants something NOW. Never time to work with someone and gently build them up. That's why I've been thrown in the 'relationship trash bin' basically. I'm honest. I let people know what's on my heart. That scares them. And they basically tell me 'go to hell' by their actions. yet..they consider themselves loving.

I see a woman who treated me like dirt without even vaguely getting to know me posting as her title "ARE THERE ANY CHRISTIAN MEN LEFT"!

LOLLOLOLOL!!! And of course those 'men' have to be within a 9 year bandgap even though there is no age in CHrist...lol!

Gimme a break. So many phonies, so little time. People need to be challenged or they indeed will wind up in hell, for functionally telling other people to 'go there' through their actions.

But *real* love demands as the brother notes, that we sharpen each other. Let some sparks fly. It's ok.

-Bob
