Admin	What was the most embarrassing (G Rated) moment in high school that happened to you?? Posted : 5 Nov, 2010 08:59 PM Well... I have two... LOL! The first was I fell asleep in science class. I dreamed I was playing the drums (I'm a singer, never perfected my percussion techniques) and I was awoken to my teacher yelling my name a deal silence in the classroom and me banging on my desktop as my peers stared at me with a bewildered expression on their faces. Ugg! I'm soooo glad my high school days are over!!! My second is... I was in advanced concert choir and I was selected to sing at my graduating class ceremonies... We had graduation practice drills (dress rehearsals) two days before which included my song, when how and where to come up to sing and when how and where to exit back to my seat with in my graduating class... All seemed easy enough... The day finally came, and I realized I did not count on being nervous to the degree I was... Well my moment came... All was going tell so far. I completed my song and upon exiting I was to walk down the row I was seated in, pause, the whole row was to stand and I was to simply walk to my seat and we would all be seated together at the same time. Well... As I walked back down I realized I couldn't recall which row I was seated in. I paused at at least 4 different rows only to have them all stand up in unison to then have them all be seated back down in unison seconds later. Picture this happening back to back 4 times different rows until I finally heard a familiar voice (my seat neighbor) say in an embarrassed annoyed whisper... Sharon, over here, you sit over here! The 5th and final row stood up in unison I walked in stood in front of my seat paused and we all sat down in unison. For the next 10 seconds (which felt like 8 hours) you could have heard a pin drop into the grass where all the family and friends were seated. Again I say... Ugg!!!! I'm soooooooo glad high school is over!!! Gone, finished, zippolla, nada, all over!!! Thank you God!!! :) Post Reply

Posted : 5 Nov, 2010 09:08 PM haha saved - that would have seemed like a loooooong time at graduation. I personally loved high school. Hated middle school; but loved high school. I was a majorette in high school, so I remember a homecoming event where my squad (I was captain) was doing a special number with just us (only 5 of us) out in the middle of the football field, and I kept dropping the stupid baton, and no one else was. I was captain for crying-out-loud; felt a bit like a total dunce since I wasn't with the band to distract from droppings. There was a time in majorette practice that someone threw the baton to me and my face caught it - the week before junior prom. I had a pretty good shiner; wore quite a bit of makeup that prom. You caught the baton with your face?!! Wow! Your a trooper for still going to prom with a shiner and I'm sure big time pain! Way to go ... I'm sure I had embarrassing moments, but mass humiliation was non-existent....thank goodness. I did take a couple classes at a middle school though. I didn't know that "hats aren't allowed" and I was going through a stage where people had to pry the hat off my head...so that was kind of embarrassing...basically having a "I'm keeping my hat!" revolution in the middle of art class. :peace::peace: Post Reply

View Profile History	What was the most embarrassing (G Rated) moment in high school that happened to you?? Posted : 5 Nov, 2010 11:13 PM Sleeping in class, eh? Well.....I can't say anything about that because the second page of my senior Class of '81 high school annual has a big fat colored picture of me passed out face first on my desk with folks staring at me. Under the picture is a caption that reads "Senior Moments.":zzzz: I was always a goof in school. I worked 40 hours a week during my junior and senior years and used class time to sleep. I still managed good grades, but somehow can't recall any of it. My second most embarrassing moment in high school happened in the 9th grade when my FFA group went to the Houston Astrodome for a sheep judging contest and I got lost in the parking lot afterwards trying to find the bus. Couldn't they see you couldn't remember what row you were in?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Whew. *wipes tears from eyes* Ok - I can't think of anything too bad in High School. Posted : 6 Nov, 2010 11:11 AM Well, I was homeschooled, so I didn't have the typical high school experience! I think probably the most embarrassing moment during that stage of my life, though, was at church. I was the pianist, and we had a HUGE piano-version of the hymnal (the print was larger to make it easier to read at the piano, but that also made it very heavy and awkward.) Anyway, I had to switch books from the hymnal to my hymn arrangement book, and had to do so during a vocal solo. Klutzy me, of course I managed to drop the HUGE hymnal...right. on. the. piano. keys. During the solo. Did I mention that the hymnal was HUGE? And HEAVY? Oh yeah. EVERYONE knew that I had dropped the hymnal. I just slunk down on the piano bench, endured the soloist's glare, and turned about 10 different shades of red. :dunce: Post Reply
