Mainly, the connection with someone that isn't a dude. It's just hard to explain...it almost feels like I've had a hole in my soul that I didn't really know was there, and to have it filled adds a completely new aspect to life. So maybe it's some kind of subconscious longing to "be complete" that attracts men and women to each other. Like building a puzzle, or the "lock and key" thing. Men/women each have some very unique/important pieces to life, and to bring them together...it makes it easier to see the big picture. I really think that's why God invented "marriage". So we can see the love/connection He has for us, and that He wants us to have for Him. :peace::peace: Post Reply

Sadly this is true They are always happy to see me They always greet me happily They want to be with me no matter what we are doing They don't compete with me even though they are better at somethings They don't lie They don't manipulate without being obvious about it They are always genuine in their feelings They never boss, nag or put me down They always love attention They always love to be petted, scratched, rubbed and loved on They although covered in hair never seem to have a 'bad hair day' They have a genuine desire to please me They don't have credit cards! Most women think it demeaning to be compared with a horse or dog. My question is demeaning to who? If women only new the truth; it is so easy to get and keep a man even a horse or dog can do it! Yes I do agree that animals can treat you better then your spouse but it's not just a gender thing. My kitty is always happy to see me. He comes up and rubs his face on mine and shows how happy he is to see me. He doesn't ask for much but is happy to be just feed and pet. It is impossible to compare a human love to an animal. Animals do not have goals or hope for the future. Your words sound like your opinion is that women are never happy. Never pleased. Always wanting more. I am sure you are just the same. It is that drive we have to improve, to move along in life. That ambition is going to spill out into the relationship. How could it not? You can't just say women are never happy, you can never please them. A relationship requires constant work. Instead of thinking the woman or man is just being a nag why not turn it around? Stop thinking it's all there fault and see what you can do to make things better. Well if your not willing to except that humans are not like animals and do require more work then you might want to stick with the animals. Also it's not just spouses it's every one in your life. My kids each require there own special instructions. You can't deal with one the same as the next. I decided to be a mother and I knew it would be work. It can be a challenge but I am willing and happy to put the work in. This work is required of all my relationships. Even my kitty. He is sweet and loving because I took the time to show him how to be loving. When he was little he was crazy and scratching. Yes they do mellow out with age but he is very sweet and loving. Some times I was in a hurry but he wanted some petting. I took the time to give him that love. Unless you are willing to do the work don't bother having a relationship. All you are going to do is go from one unhappy one to the next. Never stopping to think that part of the equation is YOU. Post Reply

God created animals to be man's companion, but animals weren't enough for Adam. He needed human companionship. He needed a wife. That is why God created Eve. My personal opinion (I just now thunk this up) is that God planned on creating Eve all along, but He didn't create her right away because He wanted Adam to miss her first so that he would know he needed her and the connection would be stronger than if she had just always been there. If Eve had always been there, Adam may have taken her for granted :goofball: Post Reply
