Do you think it's okay to ignore a guy who sends you a bunch of winks... like several a week... ? P.S. The blinking thing is annoying. Haha... Post Reply

Personally I don't send out winks and if someone sends me a wink I ignore it. Post Reply

Not that I would necessarily be interested in persons outside of a certain age range, etc., but I wanted everyone to be able to contact me, for friendship purposes or if they have questions on something I've said in the forum here. If they're not serious enough to write a good profile, then I'm not serious enough to write a good message. They could be cool, but at the same time I don't want to be a bull in a china shop. If a girl sends me a wink, i think 'she wants to talk but for me to initiate. cool.' sometimes winks are good. Post Reply

Since I have a penchant for jacking up threads I was going to stay out of it, since I was in the minority. First, I'm so glad to see you remp! I saw that you were deleted and I thought you had left without saying goodbye. When I was actively looking for my guy, I was always excited to see the wink word blinking. It represented a potential connection. I see winks as a virtual equivalent of someone giving you the eye from across the room or a guy buying a drink for you while sitting across the room. (Not that I was EVER in that situation :devil:) It's a icebreaker. I think people use it to initiate contact and to give you a chance to look at their profile and see whether you are interested in further contact. Like Godslamb, I always respond to any contact. If someone had the courage to contact me in any way, I will have them suffer rejection at my hands. Post Reply
