Eyebee...

...Welcome to The Forum. As to your question:

I see nothing inherently wrong with the woman being the first to initiate a relationship by telling some man that she likes him. I only would caution as to "how" she does it.

There are tried and tested ways for a woman to let a man know she is "interested" without seeming too forward -- then again...todays generation may have an entirely different outlook on this subject.

My concern is (being a man and knowing how our simple minds work) that the fellow might get the "wrong" idea and think you an "easy" mark.

So, what I want to say is it is all in the way or what you say. For instance:

"I like the way you..."

"I admire what you did..."

"I Love your laugh..."

"I think you're as handsome as Archimedes..." (SNicKer )

I met the guy I'm dating on a dating site (but not this site). He hadn't viewed my profile, but I saw his and liked it. I sent him a wink in hopes that he would look at my profile, and I figured if he liked it, he could take it from there. I guess I'm a bit old-fashioned, but it seems like once I make my interest known (either with a wink or short message online or with one of Arch's suggestions, which are pretty goods ones!), then it's up to the guy to decide if he's interested back. If he is, he can make the first "real" move...ie. long message, phone call, asking me out, etc.

Anyway, so that I don't leave you hanging with my story...the guy contacted me the next day by sending me a long on-site email, and as they say "the rest is history!" We've been seeing each other for nearly three months now, and he still does the pursuing. I personally like that. It's nice to know that he thinks I'm a prize worth working for! :applause:

In a 1960's John wayne movie called Hatari, the lady goes after John Wayne. She just walks up to him and ask him how he likes to kiss. Short or long? then she does both. :hearts: I think I would like that from a lady.Dennis :dancingp:

Dennis,

If some woman tried that with me...she would not get very far. I would not recomend that for you ladies. I don't think that represents your true nature and I would wonder how often you tried that with someone else.

Now if it was Sandra Bullock (after she broke up with Jesse)...:glow: :dancingp: :yay:
