A Million Dollars?Posted : 11 Mar, 2010 07:44 PMMy grandfather died in his early 60's, but he drove a sports car, but when he was alive he drove a sports car. I like that, and may indulge in my vehicle of choice. Other than that, buy an average priced house and live modestly and comfortably. Use it to buy the most valuable assest in life: Time. |

A Million Dollars?Posted : 11 Mar, 2010 08:33 PMA million dollars. That's a very tempting sum to many. A lot of lives have been ruined over a million dollars. A lot of lives have been saved with less. But...... |

A Million Dollars?Posted : 11 Mar, 2010 09:20 PMI'd buy one of those big bus RVs for a friend of mine that travels the country speaking to kids in schools about Rachel Scott's story. (Rachel was the first victim of the Columbine High School shootings) The ministry he is in is called Life Choices. |

A Million Dollars?Posted : 13 Mar, 2010 05:38 PMThanks for throwing out a question that can reveal where ones true heart lives and indicates what one values most in this life. I have reached a resolution regarding material things. Storing those things up can prove to be futile and disheartening. Remember material things are subject to decay and devaluing. What will one reflect back on from ones deathbed? Unfortunately, that's one appointment we all share. |

A Million Dollars?Posted : 15 Mar, 2010 12:51 PMI don't think I'd give it all away or anything. When God gives us stuff it's not to just give it right back. He wants to see how we'll handle it. Bury it in the ground? Multiply it? Waste it? Everything is a test. If you make the right choice and multiply it, then it will bring more to God than what He gave you. I do need a house/car though.:goofball: I don't think I'd go "lavish" on anything...but something simple, practical, and long-lasting. |
