The last book you readPosted : 11 Mar, 2010 07:25 PMYES! Great question, I'm a big believer in reading. How To Sell by Clancy Martin. Interesting, but kinda depressing, but interesting. And about to finish 10 Stupid Things Men Do To Mess Up Their Lives by Dr. Laura. Next I want to read Every Young Man's Battle by Stephen Aterburn and after that I want to find one that talks about motivation and how I can better understand it and how to use it. What do you ladies like to read? |

The last book you readPosted : 11 Mar, 2010 08:43 PMAlthough I am currently attending college and reading several books at once, for pleasure I recently finished "Of Mice & Men", and several works by Bernays that were interesting. As a youth I enjoyed James Herriot's stories of a country vet. I also enjoy reading the book of Proverbs. |

The last book you readPosted : 11 Mar, 2010 09:02 PMedw, have you ever seen the BBC series "All Creatures Great and Small"? It is about James Herriot, and is very well made...and very faithful to the books, from what I've seen. I don't think they show reruns of it anymore, but you can get it on DVD. |

The last book you readPosted : 11 Mar, 2010 09:16 PMYes, thank you, I caught a few of those. I really enjoyed them! (I had all of his books at one time too but the former Mrs. Edw sold them in a garage sale or something.) I'd like to come across some DVD's. That would be nice. James Herriot had a neat way of writing that made the reader feel like he/she was right there. |

The last book you readPosted : 12 Mar, 2010 08:47 AMI'm currently reading The Kingdom, Power and Glory, The Overcomer's Handbook by Chuck and Nancy Missler. I think every Christian should read this book. It is very eye opening. I have also recently finished The Elijah Legacy by David Davis. This book gives great insight to the ministry of prophets and the issues currently facing the Church, Israel and Islam. |
