Posted : 27 Nov, 2013 08:41 AM Teachib {For example} About me, i like to eat, i like to sleep... or, i am a hopeless romantic that likes eating and sleeping... i think it is something we write because it makes us sounds good/better i dont have a clue what romance/romantics are.... the best definition for romance i have found is, guy risks life,limb and death for the entertainment of His Lady..... is that close to truth ? View Profile History	What is... Posted : 2 Dec, 2013 09:37 PM A hopeless romantic is someone that loves or is in love with love. These are often people who write love poems, love songs, etc. They find it difficult to live their life without being in love but usually cannot stay in a relationship once the feeling of being in love has waned. They love the romance of a new love which would include giving flowers, cards, romantic dinners, play or movies etc. I think that if a man describes himself this way he is actually saying that he is a cards and flowers kind of person who enjoys being romantic. I am not so certain that the expression can be taken literally when it is used by so many men. For a good example of a story about a hopeless romantic you might check out Don Quixote. Post Reply
