looking for feedback.Posted : 21 Aug, 2013 12:29 PMThis is to all of my fellow Christian Brethren ( Ladies are welcome to comment to by the way.) I am just looking to get some feedback about what y'all think. The question is, What basic Characteristics should every Christian man exhibit that helps him to stand out from the world, and show that he is a Child of God and a Man of God? |

looking for feedback.Posted : 22 Aug, 2013 05:25 AMIf I could only pick one, I'd go with humility, it's the root of just about every other good virtue, but basically, whatever is the exact opposite of what the world is promoting for men, which seems to be unstable, inconsistent uber-egoism. A christian man's attributes should be patience, strength, humility, and yes, integrity. The self-sacrificing nature of Jesus. |

looking for feedback.Posted : 22 Aug, 2013 07:25 PMOne passage of scripture this reminds me of is one we went over at my church last Sunday when Jesus and the disciples are having the last super and Jesus says: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you so you must love one another. By this, everyone will know you are my disciples if you love one another." John 13:34-35 |

looking for feedback.Posted : 23 Aug, 2013 09:52 PMRenov8Elev8 I love your answer; I think you hit the nail on the head. Also the walkers with Y-shua that I know really are in general happy-go-lucky people; they are not complainers, slanders of others. They actually talk Scripture. I man it just comes up in conversations and the conversation flows. I know for me I do not want a man I have to lead and teach Y-shua. Ive had enough of these frogs that have never turned into my prince. They need to be at least my equal in wanting the things of G-d. Now each person is different there are liberal Christians out there but I am not. |
