If you do, you belong to satan. Does your drinking and smoking habits glorify God? Does it keep God happy? Did you check with the Holy Spirit? Don't ask other man to tell you the truth! Ask God! That certainly is not true, and it is reprehensible to even think such a thing. And according to the Bible Jesus turned water into wine, and it says that the people had their fill of wine. Child Of Satan Posted : 18 May, 2013 09:25 PM I agree with George, you need to back your arguement with what is in the bible, Yes...Drunkerds will not inherit the kingdom of God and that is what the bible says in 1Corinthians 6:10 but what about if someone just takes a little wine just for his stomach? (1 timothy 5:23) I haven't really found a verse in the bible that says drinking is bad/leads one to hell but it is :toomuch: drinking!/drunkeness! About smoking? that is baseless. Some people choose not to smoke because of moral , social and health reasons but not because they are avoiding hell. Lastly, "Everything is permissible"--but not everything is beneficial" Post Reply

I believe we all come from somewhere to being believers,so we cannot condemn those who are still there.God has good plans for His people thats why He sent His only son to die for us. If someone is following Christ as closely as possible, they will not be drinking or smoking, for all kinds of different reasons. Health, money, self-control, etc. BUT, I think it's going too far to say that people who do those things won't be in heaven/will be in hell or that they belong to Satan. Smoking is harmful, and it definitely does not "edify" anything, but it's not a "sin" in itself. :peace::peace: Post Reply
