Hi, I'm Megan :)

I just want to encourage the men to be bold, confident and edifying.

In my browsing, a common theme that I've seen is that many men verbalize their lonliness or how they don't want drama, or that they were burned in their last relationship. That's drama.

Instead, be men who speak life and love. Be men who proclaim the richness of God and the blessings of God. Be men who fight from a place of victory. Be men of honor. The strength of men is found in their identity in Christ. I understand you're not perfect, but Christ is!

Men, I would love to hear your feedback!

Thanks Megan,

You are absolutly right. This is something I had recently learned in my heart through repentence.

Go figure I am getting married this up coming year.

I give all glory to God because I am but dust and clay and He is the potter and molds us for His glory.

Unlike actual dust and clay which has no spirit, emotion and mind.

Our surrendered heart or hardness through pride makes all the difference in what kind of vessle we become.

We as adults have all experienced great hurt in life. This hurt I see has broken down unity in the body of Christ.

Beginning with families. We men need to lead the way in bringing unity back in our families and the church.

We forget that we are all part of oneanother in Christ. We are all going to remain together for all eternity in Christ.

It seems as the world seeks to become more unified the church becomes more divided.

It breakes my heart.

Michael

Thanks Megan for trying to encourage the men here.

A man of God must proclaim the entire counsel of God: life to those who believe/death to those who don't, the love of God for his children but also the wrath of God for those who do evil, blessing for those who keep his covenant but also cursing for those who don't and so on.

It would be nice if we could only speak "positive" things all day to everyone but alas this wouldn't be very loving at all. We are to exhort but also to preach, instruct, correct, reprove, rebuke, etc.

Acts 20:27

For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

2Tim 4:2

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Titus 2:15

These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

2 Tim 3

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

So is what you quoted the whole counsel of God then? or just what is confortible to you?

I pray you will learn not just the judgemental aspects of the counsel of God realising their are aspects of the counsel of God that encourage, edify and build.

Genesis 1 - Rev 22 is the whole counsel of God. I exhort you to try reading it and applying it. It is life changing.

If people want to know what I am referring to when I comment about LTM's misrepresentations....

Right after TBK says this...." life to those who believe...the love of God for his children......blessing for those who keep his covenant...and so on"

LTM responds with this...."I pray you will learn not just the judgemental aspects of the counsel of God realising their are aspects of the counsel of God that encourage, edify and build."

I just don't believe there is any integrity left in this man.

On a personal and "practical" note, TBK has privately been very encouraging to me. Stop making comments about things you don't understand. It just makes you look more foolish.

27But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 29That no flesh should glory in his presence. 30But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 31That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
