Ok, so I imagened myself in a room with 50 men, at the ready to answer the one question I've always wanted to ask.
So, I came up with "what are your top 3 qualities sought in a woman" right.. but then I thought, that question has probably been asked here several times right?
So then I thought, what if I flipped that around a bit, and came up with this:
What are the top 3 qualiities you'd prefer a woman of your interest to desire in a man...
Everything else will fall into place because if a woman submits to her man then she will have his back under all circumstances. Of course with her promise of submission come the mans promise of love. No conditions are mentioned in the bible but the 10 comandments for either party really. Unconditional submission and unconditional love. They both have heavy responsibility.
If the woman meets this condition of absolute submission then the man will love her unconditionally? Isn't the submission a condition? What if she trespasses your wishes, even on a minor issue? Do you remove, or withold the love until she straightens up? Interesting theologic discussion you've opened up.
I don't believe this is the dynamic relationship that Christ meant for us any more than the "10 Commandments" are correctly named. They should be called the "10 Results"
So... Not "If you don't use my name in vain, you love Me; if you don't kill, you love Me", but instead...
When you truly love Me ... you just won't worship something other than Me; you wont have it in you to kill someone I've created; you wont desire things I've said are not for you at this time... These actions come out of the love and complete trust, not the other way around.
The unconditional love can't come only when conditions are 'right'.
o.O now i see what this is about thanks You replier's :D

You said:I'm sorry, did I misunderstand you brother?
I say: No I don't think you read what I said at all.

I say: Where is it written submission or love has a condition when pertaining to your spouse? Please sit the chapter and verse.

I say: Really? What does neither add nor detract to my words mean? So basically what you are saying is the bible should be written to please you and your backwards logic?

No true scotsman fallacy... Love is love and submission is submission and both are not based on condition. The answer don't submit to evil and don't love contensious people unless you are willing to be mistreated... OFTEN

Tautology... Are you trying to convince yourself the bible placed a condtion and love and submission? The right "condition" is establised when you exchange vows if you know what youre doing.
. Ok, the guy that gets my interest is the guy who UNDERSTANDS that I want a partner, a friend, he understands Christians don't wear uniforms inside, we are all unique. I want to be appreciated for my mind and I want to be able to respect him, and other stuff.
Course him being a Christian, with a solid foundation/relationship with Jesus goes without saying.
I don't disagree with you brother. Subservience is a concept not easily accepted in our culter, well, by women. But, the biible's not talking about "our culter" per se. That might be a good topic, what is subserience? Looking at Jesus, I know iIt's not being a doormate, baby making, unequal, sex slave.
My man would have to be weak, if God considers me a weak-er vessel.
We may crinch when we hear the word or the scripture, but do we really understand what it means.
