To understand this a person should have some understanding of the espousal time between a Hebrew man and the woman he will be marrying. I can almost assure you that it will lead to sexual sin if the very act itself doesn't accomplish that in mind only which is just as bad. Give him the $50 bucks to have a MAN do it for him. Not a woman because you'll put him in the same predicament. Trust me as a man, it takes little physically to lead us into sin. Post Reply

With family (parents, siblings, children) and even close friends of the same sex, I see no harm in back rubs because I will not be forming romantic feelings for them or considering them for marriage. But with a person that I am considering for marriage, whether we are dating or not, I would rather not have that physical contact because I don't want to "arouse" feelings that shouldn't be there early. I don't care if everyone else says it's harmless, every person is different and I just don't want to go there. I'm not saying that I won't do back rubs for my husband or clip his toenails when he is old and can't reach them. I am trying to guard my heart. The guy that I was talking about here told me that this (not giving back rubs, he calls it resistance to touch) is why I haven't had a relationship and I am making it extremely hard for myself to ever find anybody.
