Posted : 15 Nov, 2011 01:35 PM so I was in the chatroom (i'm one of the regulars in there as I just reactivated my account) and there was a conversation between two guys talking about hot girls and cute girls. One would rather date a cute girl who is laid back and mature and easy going then date a Hot girl who is a diva, manipulative, immature, etc... But i'm curious, do you guys really make decision based on looks for example: Shes cute so shes laid back. shes hot shes a diva. And what is "hot" and "cute"? I'm super curious! I mean i'm not saying its right or wrong just curious! :) Like for me personally, I do notice a mans attractiveness (physically) but I honestly look at his character. cos he could be not as physically appealing to me and still be a total jerk, or the sweetest guy! Posted : 16 Nov, 2011 03:01 PM One would rather date a cute girl who is laid back and mature and easy going then date a Hot girl who is a diva, manipulative, immature, etc... the advantages of dating a diva : social invitations maximus,and they are secure,highly esteemed,seems like most ( not all ) females are manipulative...might as well have nice scenery while being manipulated? advantages of dating a nondiva : less social events to attend,less self esteem,a little less manipulation,but! Posted : 16 Nov, 2011 03:22 PM I don't know how I'd define hot or cute, and whilst appearance is obviously important, I'm well aware that it'll change (usually for the worse) as we age, so I'd place greater importance on whether they'd wind me up so much I couldn't live with them. An average looking lady,with great character,one that is a good setward (my stewardship and typing are terrible). A woman that wants children,and is family oriented. A lady that will not embarrass me publicly,nor will she want to wrestle me for my position in the home. Posted : 21 Nov, 2011 03:18 PM They might mean: Hot- looks more like an adult with sex appeal going (tight jeans, lower neckline, and/or sleek figure) Cute- an adult that has that slightly girlish look to her- baby face, clothes that aren't focused on playing up their figure or clothes that are brightly colored and less part of the societally-accepted spectrum (the kind of clothing that makes them stand out like a sore thumb in a crowd). While I do pre-judge women to some degree based on what they are wearing (I think most people make judgements about a person based on what they are wearing), it doesn't mean I would stick to the those judgements after getting to know someone, and it doesn't mean I wouldn't consider her as a potential spouse simply because she happened to dress a certain way. I would be less likely to want to marry a woman that dresses to get men's attention, but if she had a lot of other positive traits that outweighed her naivety to how she was affecting men, then I probably would still marry her. Hot women are those who tend to sexualize their appearance. Guys generally only see these kind of women as someone that they might want to have sex with, but not someone they would really be all that interested in having a true relationship with. Beautiful women are those who are obviously attractive, but not overtly so (except of course on those special �nights in� after you get married). This would be someone who you would want to be with for the rest of your life. For me, someone who is cute is generally a petite, slender woman. Someone who appears to be vulnerable and in need of protection. Someone who leans more towards a girlish look than a womanly look. While I would prefer someone who is closer in height to me, I would take a �cute� wife any day. Post Reply

From my perspective and experience it seems like the difference between the words are depend on what way the guy is looking at the girl. A more lustful outlook would lead to using the word "hot" and a less shallow outlook, taking into consideration that personality effects attractiveness, would lead to using the word cute. Post Reply
