Admin	Is it just me or what? Posted : 31 Dec, 2008 09:35 PM So someone wrote something similar in "ask a girl" forum and I feel similarily. My question is: is something wrong with my profile that makes people pass me by? Do I seem uninteresting or is it because of the distance? Is distance a dealbreaker for you? Or the fact that most of the guys who try and contact me are WAY older than I am? ???? Just wondering... Post Reply

Now lets deal with your questions: My first advice would be to STOP CARING. yes I said it because GOD TOLD US TO CAST (NOT SOME) but,ALL OUR CARES ON HIM FOR HE CARETH FOR YOU 1Peter5:7. The reason you have to cast your cares is because they will consume YOUR THINKING and by the spiritual LAW of as a man thinketh so is he you will keep creating the very thing you do not want. FAITH AND FEAR operate by the same spiritual law. Job kept making sacrafices unto God on the behalf of his Kid and the very thing he feared the most came upon him. What am I saying? I am glad you asked YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO CHANGE HOW YOU THINK ABOUT YOU BECUASE LIKE I SAID WHAT YOU ARE SAYING ABOUT YOUR SITUATION IS WHAT IS HAPPENING SO IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE WHAT IS HAPPENING YOU FIRST MUST CHANGE HOW YOU THINK AND FEEL ABOUT YOURSELF. YOU ARE LOVED AND ARE SPECIAL AND YOU ARE A GIFT PACKAGED READY FOR A BLESSED MAN TO RECIEVE YOU. Your home work from me to you is to start saying to your self what God has already said about you in his word. YOU ARE THE APPLE OF HIS EYES AND THAT HE LOVE YOU SO MUCH THAT HE SENT HIS SON JESUS TO THE CROSS SO YOU AND HIM COULD HAVE A RELATIONSHIP. You have written a lot of stuff about yourself which is great because not a lot of people fill out their profiles with as much information (and the things you wrote about yourself are interesting). From your pictures you seem to have a serious side and also have a fun, goofy, and light-hearted side as well. You're also very pretty. Posted : 1 Jan, 2009 07:40 PM Just a quick tip for you if you have your mail setting on NO for letting others see if you viewed them than in my experience you will get viewed less. If you have it set to yes than a lot of times when you view profile than they will view your profile and that is where it usually starts. Your profile is very good so don't sweat it.... and God may have the special someone already picked out for you no offense to all the guys on here but some of them you don't want viewing you anyway. Some of them are very good christian men though and are a little bit slower to respond because they truly are waiting on the Lord those are the one's you want to catch anyway... Posted : 3 Jan, 2009 07:31 AM Hi Sunny, I know this was an "ask a guy" thread, but it seems that we gals are chiming right in and only one or two guys are speaking the truth into our lives. I just wonder if half the guys on here even know about or use the chat forum. What a pity. I am very new to this site also, just been on for a week and 1/2. I still have not put up a picture yet, my son is working on that for me, and I feel the same way you do. I have had LOTS of guys looking at my profile, but most of them do not respond in any way. It really bothers me that several guys wrote back and said that they wouldn't even be interested until they saw my picture! I thought that being a Christian dating site we would be beyond that. Not that I am trying to HIDE anything, I just need technical help on how to put a picture up here. When I read the profiles of these men, they said they were looking foremost for a godly woman. So please explain to me what that has to do with looks? The funny thing is, some guys don't have pictures, but I write to them anyway because of their profile and some that do have pictures are nothing to look at, but their profiles are wonderful. So why can't the guys just send a quick note to tell us that they read our profile and they are not interested. This would let us just move on to the next. See Jesus and Peter in the Garden of Gethsemane. All Christians walking in and with Christ; like the Christians who were escorted into the Roman Colisium, had no weapons other than the Word of God. Anyone who states violence and guns and weapons are allowable as a Christian is NOT walking in or with or bearing the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Christ died on the cross that we might be saved. We are to follow his example and be sheep ready to be led to the slaughter by the world; and witnesses of Jesus Christ's Love and Resurrection Power. View Profile History	Is it just me or what? Posted : 4 Jan, 2009 12:02 PM The issue of not having weapons is a fairly new concept, and definitely not one that the Bible teaches. Peter was a member of Christ's inner circle, do you think he tricked Jesus by hiding the sword from him? No, He was upset because Peter was fighting against His destiny, showing that he still did not understand what was happening. Teaching that we are not to have weapons because of this scripture, is like teaching that we shouldn't have boats unless God tells us to build one because of the story of Noah's ark. Or that we shouldn't live in multi-story buildings because of the tower of Babel. 2Peter 3:16 teaches that people will twist the scriptures to their own destruction, in these last days. Did Moses sin when he lead the children of Israel out of Egypt? What about Joshua? Caleb? Elijah? David? Did these men just make up the fact that God told them to make war? I understand your confusion, but the WHOLE Bible must be taken into consideration before you can start teaching something. Blessings, Leon Post Reply

And it is true you must have solid understanding of the word before you try to teach it because if you think about it you can make the bible say what YOU want it to say and think you are justified and right because you found it in the bible. example: do you know that the KKK think hatred is of God there are churches that only kkk's go to and praise God only to stand before God and here DEPART FROM ME I NEVER KNEW YOU. Because St.John 13:35 say ' BY THIS SHALL ALL MEN KNOW THAT YE ARE MY DISCIPLES IF,IF,IF,IF,IF YE HAVE LOVE ONE TO ANOTHER. My point is not to get on race issues but to point out that if you do not rightly divide the word you can miss heaven or that first trip back with JESUS. Post Reply

The word doesn't say love your neighbor if they have the same skin color. This is one of the reasons fellowship is so important.
