few extra poundsPosted : 13 Jul, 2011 01:54 PMIt depends on what they mean by a few extra pounds. Do they mean a little overweight (by the CDC standards), or do they really mean obese. |

few extra poundsPosted : 13 Jul, 2011 06:31 PMFor me, health is an important factor. Weight is a big part of making sure not only that you're still alive for your spouse and kids, but that you can live an active lifestyle while you're alive as well. Does that mean that I'm only looking for a woman with a BMI of 18? Of course not. I actually don't really like super skinny women. There's a lot more important things, but pretending like weight is irrelevant would just be a lie. |

few extra poundsPosted : 13 Jul, 2011 09:23 PMOh cry me a river. A vast majority of guys including myself do not find fat women attractive. That's just the way it is. Life's not fair, not everyone gets a trophy. Either change it or accept it. |

few extra poundsPosted : 14 Jul, 2011 12:17 AMHmm, I think the change needs to be in the man, not the woman. |

few extra poundsPosted : 14 Jul, 2011 01:37 AMI did say "Cry me a river", but the whole of the message was out of love. Sometimes that means telling people what they don't want to hear in order to wake them up (Yes. Being overweight is not attractive in the dating game. Lose it or keep on doing what you've always done and keep on getting what you've always got. Healthy or unhealthy both take effort. It's your choice.) rather than being treated like a baby so insecure they can't hear an honest opinion, or use discernment and common sense, or pull themselves up by the bootstraps, grow up, and improve themselves. |

few extra poundsPosted : 14 Jul, 2011 01:40 PMIf she weighs more than about 14st then I'll struggle to carry her over the threshold! I weigh quite a bit more than that, but only God offers to carry me... |
