He is a rare bird and so are you, Chevy. :glow: I appreciate you guys as well as Dennis and POIC, as well as some of the other ones who don't post often, but have the spirit of Christ evident in their lives.

God will lead us all to the right person for us and eventually home to heaven, where we can all meet in person! :applause::angel:

friends, i will miss him too. I hope that all goes well with him. It is not his departure that we should remember but his humor. I am disturbed at the events that happened. The words of christ are to forgive 7 times 70. i hold nothing against chuck, he just did something wrong, I can only believe he will grow from it as others should. The censorship favors no person, it is here to protect everybody. even the hard to get along with people.

Thank you, joey. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sadly, Two won't be able to respond to the many comments made about him. But when I talk to him tonight, I plan to ask if he wants me to post anything for him. Dennis, he did nothing wrong other than take a stand. If I remember correctly you are the first person to laugh at the post that started it all. The ones who bombarded cdff with their abuse reports against him are the wrong doers here. And I do believe we should remember his departure and the reason for it. (certain people disagreed with what he said). WOW! What a reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chevy, I am a little reticent to post a response. I have not wanted to appear to take sides or know what was best; and I didn't and don't. I am deeply hurt and saddened by Chuck's exit. I needed him and his wisdom. I benefitted so very much from other's responses to many of his topics and queries. The Lord placed a heavy responsibility on him...I think I took him for granted a bit. I am sorry I did not appreciate him more, truly I am. I am also looking at myself...I prayed for him, but I ignored urgings from the Lord to confront him about some areas of concern.

You see, whether we all realize it or not, this site is a ministry. Chevy, you are a missionary here. Joey is a mature Christian woman who counsels the younger women. MsMarvel is a knowledgable voice representing her generation. Bahira is an evangelist. I could go on and on... We all have made contributions that were for God's purpose...He has only let us 'think' we found this site! This site is sooooooo much more than a "Christian Dating Site." So, we must be mindful that our words are scrutinized by new believers, desparate brethren, and searching souls longing to have that void filled by the One we proclaim to follow. We all are anxious to write, but do we really read?

Please understand...I am all for a heavy, heated discussion. That we may not even agree is not really a biggie. We don't have to even LIKE each other. Heck, you all know that Citizen and Propheticcalling were two whom I disagreed with quite...ummm...firmly! I always come back to my favorite Proverb: Grievous words stir up anger, but a soft answer turns away wrath. Debating is one thing; allowing words of discord is another. We need to stand out...stand out for our love of Christ.

Because of Harold Camping, there have been a few discussion topics concerning Christians, Jesus, the Bible...on some news sites. One comment caught my attention the other day. A poster was sharing how he observed some "Christians" treating each other on a "Christian Site." His observation was basically this: Christians aren't very Christ-like on a public forum. He even appeared amused by the exchanges. Was he referring to us?

We all fall short. We all need to confess; sincerely confess to each other. Yes, I aware there are some posters here who have written some things that have had me shaking my head. I know some comments I have made have been inappropriate and wrong. I have regretted some things I wrote and have had to beg pardon. I trust the forgiveness was sincere! We are a family here. We have responsibilities to and for each other. If a member goes off on a tangent, wave "buh bye," but be willing to welcome them back with those same hands.

This is from Peacemaker Ministries: Overlook an Offense -- Many disputes are so insignificant that they should be resolved by QUIETLY (emphasis mine) overlooking an offense. "A man's wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense." Proverbs 19:11. Overlooking an offense is a form of forgiveness, and involves a deliberate decision not to talk about it (in our case, write about it), dwell about it, or let it grow into pent-up bitterness or anger.

One last thing. As I am a 'senior" member here, a Mom and teacher I can write this...Ugly talk is not acceptable! (giggle) Be at peace my family! May God Bless us all.

chevy you must have missed my response to your comment on a earlier post. I was so shocked I laughed in disbelief at what I was reading. Pixy's and twos sex topics all had no bussiness being here. You can just check my profile history back to Aug. sept. oct. of last year. she had no care as to who she hurt. I should not have put that guy on two's post I was not thinking at that time.It took me a day to get a handle on myself.I am sure many other people felt the same way. However, he has not been banned for life.Just deleted, others have returned who were deleted under a different name several months later. His profile does not say banned, those who have been banned can never return.:peace: Dennis
