So what are some of the best April Fools you witnessed or participated in this year?

This year I stole a kid's bike. He kept leaving it locked up only by its front wheel, so we left the wheel locked to the post and took the rest of the bike and put it in my brother's dorm room. Then we left him a ransom note. Maybe it's not your traditional prank, but it should be pretty funny tomorrow when he comes back to school and sees his bike is missing.

The best one I've ever done is send a letter on official-looking Fulton County "stationary" to a house of girls that said their failure to pay bills was causing their electricity to be shut off unless they paid a large series of fines. They believed it for a while and even called their landlord to complain to him, which made it even better. They may still hate me a little :goofball:

I actually didn't prank or get pranked any this year but the best was deffinitly when they told one of the soldiers he was leaving with one of the earlier parties and made it sound totally legit so he spent the entire day moving and packing up everything in his room only to find out at the end April Fools.

My roommate also told his gf we would be stopping to do some work in Libya on our way back to the states.

Please tell me she didn't really believe him. Then again, it wouldn't surprise me if the US had already sent some people who don't exist to places they aren't to do things that didn't happen in Libya...

She did, but I think he gave it away too quickly and didn't give it enough of a chance.

One of my students (5th grade) told me she was planning to replace the creme part of an oreo with toothpaste in their older siblings lunch. :)

Well, as long as you're not one of those guys who doesn't wear a name, I'm sure you'll be fine. If they're dressing you up in a man dress, a turban, and a beard on a regular basis though, you might have to worry hahaha

I replaced the creme with toothpaste in an oreo when I was 12! I told my friend that it was a new blueberry flavor and she believed me until I fell to the ground when she said it didn't taste too bad!

I didn't do any jokes this year, but the best joke I ever played was in 2006 (I think). I told my mom that I had eloped with a guy I dated in 2004 and we had moved into married student house and were saving up our money until we could afford to move into our own place. If my friend hadn't of made any noise she wouldn't have realized that it was a joke. She said I about gave her a heart attack. It was awesome!

This year I told someone I found them a stray puppy, over the phone, expecting them to be horrified. They were thrilled, and I had to apologize... "Um, its April Fools and you're supposed to be mad." Didn't work. :(

The best pranks I played were when I dumped a bucket of cold water on my friends head, from a balcony above. Then, I petted my cat for a long time till I had a substantial amount of cat fur, which I placed on my friend's chest while he napped. He was allergic  My friend then faked an episode and freaked me out. Grrr!

 It was worth the laughs later.
