Posted : 8 Dec, 2010 03:47 AM I haven't been given a schedule yet and I probably won't get one until February, but I am assuming that I will only be teaching one Open Oral English class M-F in the afternoon. And I will have to give one two hour lecture on a Friday night in April or May. Hopefully I will also be able to take some Chinese classes or get a Chinese tutor. Post Reply

bcpianogal View Profile History	What are you taking next quarter/semester? Posted : 8 Dec, 2010 11:14 AM I'm not taking anything! Yay for finishing college in 2008! Of course, now I teach college... I'll have two sections of freshman class piano, one section of sophomore class piano, a couple of applied piano students, and about 18 voice students that I'll accompany on a weekly basis. Oh, and musical theater...can't forget that one. It only eats up 3-4 evenings every week, plus Saturdays, for the first 8-10 weeks of the semester. Post Reply

As far as I can tell I am taking: - Immunology - Medical Genetics - Microbes and Pathogenesis I should also be continuing Histology, Physiology, and Practice of Medicine from this block. She was learning it down in Monterey Bay (at the Navy's language school), but it is now out of the Navy and pursuing it on her own. @Tulip: Yikes! Classes fill up fast at the school I'm at (and at the one I was at before). Even when I register at the first possible moment, I don't necessarily get what I want. @bc: You're a busy lady =) That is a lot to manage! @MS: Those are some interesting medical classes. I can't even imagine how overwhelmed you must be with all of that, though! @shaniaisha: You have some very practical classes in there. The Publication Design sounds especially interesting. Post Reply

I have started picking up random words and phrases just from listening to the locals and my students, but if I could just learn it a little faster I wouldn't need as much help from my students and other Chinese friends. And if I could figure out how to hear and pronounce the tones correctly it would be good. Post Reply

And probably be done with school forever, unless I decide to pursue another degree sometime in the future. Post Reply
