Then I could know what it's like to truely love, to have all those people you love spitting on you, mocking you, and beating you to a bloody pulp. How Jesus own father couldn't look upon him because of the sin he had to take on so me and you could be free from sin. Post Reply

He would be the thief that was crucified beside Jesus/Yeshua, because he was told "I tell you this day, you will be with me in paradise." Seems like a sure way! Post Reply

I may be smaller than some but with God I can defeat even giants. I really like Cornelius in the bible though. Guess because he was a Gentile too but there's other reasons too. Post Reply

David, Joseph, Isaac, Jacob, Abraham, Ruth, Hannah, Moses, Jacob, etc were all made to go through the tough process of waiting and enduring all sorts for God's glory to eventually prevail. They didn't get angry with God in spite of all the sufferings that accompanied their anointing and faith in God. I would have chosen to be Esther, but no, I think Solomon was a man that was born into abundance - of grace, favor, MERCY, blessings, victory, honor, splendor, wealth, peace, all to the credit of his father David. Even the thousand offering he gave God was acquired by his father. What he used to build the temple was put in place by his father. He inherited & enjoyed the blessings of God from his father David, without added sorrows, except for the ones he went shopping for. All that was required of him was just to obey God. But obedience to God, unlike the case of Joseph was of no interest to Solomon. Since he had no problems to keep him busy, praying and trusting God, he went shopping for problems. I would really like to be in Solomon's position to enjoy all God gave to him, but of course not to choose to be foolish as he did, and became what some call "THE WISEST FOOL". Post Reply
