insomniaPosted : 7 Oct, 2010 05:28 AMI don't like to recommend medication as a general rule, but you might go to the doctor (if you can...I know you have some insurance issues) and see about getting some sleep aids. |

insomniaPosted : 7 Oct, 2010 08:27 AMThanks, pianogal. Benadryl does have that affect on me too, but I hate resorting to medication... I may have to, though. |

insomniaPosted : 7 Oct, 2010 09:58 PMI have had bad insomnia also since I was a kid. My mom would check on me at 1 AM sometimes when I was 5 years old and I would be wide awake, and I remember even when I was 2 and 3 I would be awake well past when everyone else went to sleep. We lived in a trailer and I shared a room with my brother and sister, and my parents were about 30 feet away in the living room. There would be times when I wouldn't sleep at all as a teenager, so I'd be up a good 40+ hours at a time before I would get any sleep. Needless to say, growing up I never had ANY fits at naptime...and I still don't :) I will pray for you! Hopefully things improve for you soon. |
