What homework are you taking a break from?

Also, would anyone like to do mine for me? LOL. Actually, that wouldn't even work because it's all reading and studying that I have left for this weekend.

I am taking a break from reading Good-bye to All That, the autobiography of Robert Graves. It's for my "World War 1 in History and Literature" class. Graves was a World War 1 veteran and his book discusses how the war altered both him and the world... His writing style isn't the easiest to read, but it's a good book =)

After that, I need to do some reading in my textbook for "Medical Law, Ethics, and Bioethics" and some studying of orthopedics for another class...

And I really need to clean my apartment but I am exhausted and recovering from a concussion and I have pneumonia. So quiet activities such as studying are good right now, I guess!

AH pixy! me too... I was working on homework and somehow worked my weay here instead.

I wish all I had to do was reading. I have 3 assignments that I'm to be working on...

1. HIM Performance Measure Indicators (I have to come up with 4 along with their formulas)

2. a workbook exercise dealing with measuring compliance with clinical practice guidelines

3. I have to do a SWOT analysis over a hypothetical situation of creating a transcription area separate from the main transcription department that is solely for ED dictations.

fun huh? yup so much fun I'm here in the forums instead of working on my assignments LOL

I have a paper due in my Economics class on October 19, and have been reading a couple of books for it (well, sort of. As much as I'm motivated to read them :goofball:).

It's more interesting than lots of things! Like washing dishes or scrubbing the bathroom! O, the ways that I've used CDFF to procrastinate!

Pixy, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who procrastinates and uses CDFF as an excuse!!!

I am hugely behind in my tax accounting class, thanks in part to thinking I could take a trip to Canada without getting behind.... It might be the most mind-numbing class I have ever taken... even after reading the assigned chapters, I still need my book at all times when doing the homework because there are so many nit-picky rules! Barf....

Oh, I feel for you, Siylii! I worked for the IRS for 5-1/2 years in the field of tax accounting. There are a gazillion nit-picky rules... The good thing about classes, though, is that there IS an end in sight!! Eventually, the quarter/semester WILL be over.

Canada is fun. I'm jealous. I only live like a 3 hours drive from the border but have not been up there in forever. I totally want to go soooon. Maybe over Spring break.

Yeah, tax accounting isn't something I think I want to do... it's required for my degree, and I guess it's not that bad. It's just tiring to keep flipping back and forth nonstop looking for "What was that rule again?!"

All in all, I guess being behind was worth it... after all, I did get to see a wild moose.
