View Profile History	Age Limits Posted : 23 Jul, 2010 10:21 AM I'm kinda teetering between a 6 and a 7 on that question, because while it would be nice to find people in the same denomination, I care more about the person's beliefs. People within a denomination can believe different things about salvation and baptism; for example, an independent fundamental baptist would believe differently than, say, a free will baptist. I would rather meet friends who believe in salvation by grace through faith than friends based on what their denomination is. Not sure if I explained that too clearly, but thats my answer. Post Reply

For instance, there are Catholics that believe in salvation by grace through faith alone, and there are other denominations that feel the need to add works in to salvation. Denominations usually give a good clue as to what a person believes, but they aren't always black and white. Post Reply

Regarding denominations, it's pretty important, since it's very important that she have similar theological beliefs, and denomination is the best predictor of that. Ultimately though, a girl who is hungry to know God more is going to be way more attractive than a girl who has theology but doesn't actively hunger after God. Post Reply

Going with someone older than me is odd, without a doubt, but I am not opposed to it if they are only a few years older (3-4 max) And since I am only 22, 18 is the loewst I will go.
