View Profile History	travelling! Posted : 28 Apr, 2010 05:39 PM i would really like to see Germany, Italy, Greece, Russia, Israel, Ireland and Australia. Have been to Iraq, Kuwait, and S. Korea and even though they're not the most normal of places i did get to know the culture really well and the what and why of people thinking the way they do. One thing that really hits me outside of the U.S. is how old everything is. It's like walking through a history book. I remember the Gecko club in Seoul. Everytime i went there you'd drink and play pool with somebody from a different country like Nigeria, Canada, Germany, Pakistan, Omaha. It was pretty far out. In Iraq you had Indians, Pakistanis, Kenyans, Albanians, Turks, Australians, English, other Arabs. It was like a united nations. I remember we stopped at the airport in Ireland and as we were flying over, it was nothing but green countryside. And when we stopped in Germany even though we were restricted to the airport it was still really interesting. That's also the first time i saw the Atlantic Ocean. lol. go figure. Post Reply

For oversees travel, I'd love to go to Ireland, Italy, Germany, England, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Spain, France, Portugal...ok, so pretty much any country over there would make me happy! I can honestly say that I've never really wanted to go to Asia or Africa...no clue why. I guess Egypt would be cool. The Middle East has never held much appeal for me either. I'm sure there are a lot of good reasons to go to those places! Post Reply

I have also lived in Hong Kong, which is China but isn't China, but only for about a month. I have lived in Arizona, Ohio, Michigan and Nebraska, and visited Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, North & South Carolina, North & South Dakota, Wisconsin, Kansas, Missouri, Texas, California, and Nevada. I lived in Germany for 4 years when I was younger, and although I spent more time fighting with my brother and sister and getting in trouble I saw some really cool sites! I visited France, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the Azores (which is a Portuguese Island). I really want to go to Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Egypt, Spain, Italy, the Philippines and the UK. Post Reply

I went to Italy with my Latin class in high school, and we got to visit some really cool places (Rome, Florence, Assisi, Capris, and Pompeii). I also went to France and Germany with my high school symphonic band, and to Guatemala with my Church's Young Adult group. I went to Hawaii when I was pretty young with the fam... Places I still want to go: Ireland/Scotland, South Africa, Greece, somewhere in Asia, and another visit to South/Central America is definitely needed. My favorite places to go are those where you can spend time outside, just walking through the countryside, or places with ancient buildings/ruins. Getting outside of the US makes you appreciate how much older other civilizations are. Post Reply

I've been to Ireland and Northern Ireland, as well as Mexico, Belize, and the Caymans. I'd like to see the rest of Europe, probably South Africa, Australia, Japan, India, Chile, Brazil, and Russia. Really, though, I wouldn't turn down visiting anywhere new. Post Reply
