Hey i just came across this poem I wrote about a year ago in a trying time, its something to read and think about



Yes or No

By Joshua Roberson



There are a million ways of saying yes

When we are put to a trying test

But when our progress in life is slowed

Remember there is only one way of saying no



Those who succumb to another�s call

Are oft� the first of us to fall

They fall into ruin loosing sight of their goal

Creating a deceiving human black hole



It may seem innocent and harmless enough

But to those who haven�t called its bluff

It is a whirlpool of fear

Sucking in all that�s near



You don�t have to be tainted

Or even impressed with the scene painted

To be influenced by a friend

Who has promised to be there �til the end



Everyone has the chance

To lead or follow in the dance

Of right or wrong

�Til every decision is gone



Everyone has a million ways of saying yes

When their friends put them to the test

But it takes a special breed to know

All it takes is a simple no
