This is a little thought on the matter.. We should believe that the whole bible is true and should hold none of it more inportant than the other. We as believers are no longer bound by the law. I try to Love the Lord and love my neighbor as myself. For the word says...

Matthew 22:36-40.

36Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law? 37And He said to him, YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND. 38This is the great and foremost commandment. 39The second is like it, YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. 40On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.

True, but it also is said:

1 John 5:3

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

John 14:15

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 14:21

He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.

Something to think about:

1 John 2:3-6

3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. 6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.

2Timothy 3:16 says that "All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness"

This means that both the Old and New testament are very important in a Christian's life! The Old Testament lays the foundation for the teachings and events found in the New Testament! Jesus for example came to fulfill the law and not to abolish it( Mathew 5:17).

So in response to your question, I do try my best to keep old testament commandments especially the 10 Commandments...
