would you date someone that in a wheelchair?Posted : 16 Mar, 2012 09:04 AMWhat is wrong with dating someone that is in a wheel chair? I believe that i would date him as long as we love ourselves... hey what happens if your spouse gets lame in the course of your marriage? |

would you date someone that in a wheelchair?Posted : 21 Mar, 2012 05:22 AMWell said shalomlia! I agree with one hundred percent! I believe that God and love know no boundaries. That includes dissabilities. You make a very good point about, what if you spouse goes lame in the course of ou marriage. Anything could happen! I hope to find a husband that would stick with me no matter what. And of course I would do the same for him. So yes, I would have absolutley NO problem dating a man in a wheelchair! Either would I have a problem dating a man with any other disability. All I care about is that he is a Godly man, and our personalities match. I think that's what is most important. |

would you date someone that in a wheelchair?Posted : 21 Mar, 2012 08:17 AMHonestly, I probably would not date someone in a wheelchair. If I married a man and THEN he ended up in a wheelchair, that would be completely different. It might be hard, but I would not leave him. But it is not likely that I would intentionally start a relationship with someone who was already in a wheelchair. |

would you date someone that in a wheelchair?Posted : 23 Mar, 2012 02:49 AMOkay bp, let's put it this way; let's say you got an accident before marriage( hey am not praying for that to happen anyways) and you become crippled and then end up in a wheel chair. wouldn't you want someone to love and date you? |

would you date someone that in a wheelchair?Posted : 23 Mar, 2012 02:06 PMI knew I'd take heat because of my answer. The OP asked a legitimate question, and I gave an honest answer. There's no need to get all up in arms because I don't think I would intentionally pursue a relationship with someone in a wheelchair. If you are serious about being willing to, then you are a very special, very strong person. I guess I'm just a normal human being. |

would you date someone that in a wheelchair?Posted : 23 Mar, 2012 02:06 PMIt's not about whether they deserve someone to love them, etc. it's simply about who we''re attracted to. Generally I'm not attracted to black women, very large women, smokers or those in wheelchairs - and none of the above makes them "less worthy" than anyone else. But attraction is more than just physical, so if the right woman came along, even those barriers would fall... |

would you date someone that in a wheelchair?Posted : 26 Mar, 2012 09:23 PMAnd seriously, seeing wheelchair-bound people as whole people and not charity makes you a "special, strong" person? No, it makes you a regular person with some small amount of decency. I think it's like the bare minimum of politeness, honestly. Stop with the stupid platitudes and ~martyrdom~ of your difficult life of prejudice. WHAT A CROSS IT MUST BE TO BEAR. |
