DivorcePosted : 9 Mar, 2012 08:17 PMWhy does it happen? Is it natural or biblical? We as young people how do we look at it? I can ask endless questions about it. I'm curious! Finally, Are we not supposed to be Untill Death Do Us Part? |

DivorcePosted : 10 Mar, 2012 01:07 PMThe pursuit of happiness has led society to abandon the values and principles God taught us. Instead of love being a choice and commitment you make to someone, it's now a gushy feeling utterly dependent on emotions and mood. Add to that the double whammy of feeling they shouldn't settle for less than their ideal person, but at the same time that ideal person must accept and embrace all the faults they have. To top it off, there's no stigma now if you decide you want out for any and all reasons, no expectation for you to honour your marriage vows. Society has become truly miserable because we no longer honour each other, we don't feel any obligations towards others, and even when we receive it, we know it's fickle and unreliable so we don't trust it. |

DivorcePosted : 11 Mar, 2012 09:53 AMWE are not beyond repair, in fact our creator is at work in us now healing our past hurts, shifting our attitudes and generally repairing what were "broken" people. |

DivorcePosted : 11 Mar, 2012 10:59 AMGreat reflection! Again I agree with the fact that the cause of every split and divorce is because of the lack of a growing relationship with the creator. Hope the creation would realise this soon. |

DivorcePosted : 14 Mar, 2012 10:19 AMIn the US, the statistic is that 50% of couples will get divorced. At first this is alarming, but look at it differently. People that get married once and remain married don't divorce. Some people marry, get divorced, re-marry, get another divorce and it keeps going on, so the numbers are skewed. |

DivorcePosted : 14 Mar, 2012 12:26 PMThere is another reason for divorce...If the unbelieving spouse wants out, you should let him/her go because peace is the most important thing. However if the unbelieving spouse doesn't want out, the command is still to stay married. |
