Admin	shopping? Posted : 25 Nov, 2011 09:50 AM Who is out shopping today on this lovely Friday after Thanksgiving day? I just saw on the news that friday is good for online shoppers with free shipping. Personally I have too much stuff and would rather gifts were made to nonprofits to benefit those with real needs all over the world. I am working on homework right now. May end up going to see the new muppet movie tonight. Has anyone seen it yet? Any thoughts on it? Post Reply

No, I didn't get out really early; my sister and I got there around 10:30 and headed home around 6:30. I was mostly looking for stuff to redecorate my bathroom, but I found a few good deals on clothes too (items that I actually needed, not just wanted!) It was total insanity at the Mall...parking lot was at 90% capacity (according to AM750), people were everywhere, no one was being nice or courteous, and at least two people ran into me with their baby strollers (which, interestingly enough, did NOT have babies in them...they were piled high with shopping bags). I haven't seen the Muppet movie, but I heard it was good. Post Reply

Glad to read that you survived the shopping experience. I saw a few years ago on the news that thieves were targeting people's trunks. They must have known people were dropping things in their cars, only to go back for more shopping. Well, some opportunistic thieves got some interesting stuff by breaking into people's cars. I wondered if there are so many people walking about the parking lots, how on earth do the thieves get enough time to break in without looking like thieves? Post Reply
bcpianogal View Profile History	shopping? Posted : 28 Nov, 2011 09:11 AM Yeah, the Mall of GA is HUGE. It's on Highway 20 in Buford (NE Atlanta). I remember when they build that mall...there was nothing else in the area, and if you wanted something to eat, you had to eat in the food court. Now the area has pretty much every store and restaurant you can possibly imagine! Post Reply
