If you could be anyone in the Bible who would you be and why?

Think hard about it before you post!

I admire Joseph because he shows the strength of being faithful to the will of God.

David

I know he fell into sin but here was a man that had a heart for God and did everything in his power to please him. Only when he lost focus did he fall into sin. To me that just shows how strong the temptation to sin is. If a man like David can fall then we all can.

Even after his sin though he handled repentance well. Nathan rebuked him and when he saw his sinful condition he cried out to God and asked for forgiveness.

So that's who I'd like to be like, I want to be like David and be used of God like he was.

God has His own book on me though it will never be read in tha Bible. Psalm 139:16 We are to be living epistles 2Cor. 3:2 So I would just be myself. To answer U about those in tha Bible. I like Elijah, and he has not died yet. He lived and ascended, was taken up by whirlwind or caught up. I might not die either if I'm here when tha rapture takes place. Yes I really like reading about tha life of Elijah.

It is written, "You shall not covet your neighbor"

I have thought about this before, and evily I said, "I would want to be like Nathaniel whom Yahooshua said, 'Here is a true Israelite, in him there is nothing false.'"

But I have coveted, wanting the praise from Yahooshua that Nathaniel recieved.

Instead, I should say, "I want to walk as Nathaniel, a true Israelite."

And to be a true Israelite, I know I must live as a true Israelite.

Truly I say, whoever believes in the Son shall be as Isaac. That is, the promise child.

It has been known through the Spirit of YHWH that in the past there was One to be born into the world. He is the true Isaac, that is, the true promise child.

Whoever believes in him, also recieves the Spirit which he had, the Spirit that cries, "Abba, Father" to the One and Only True Creator, YHWH.

YHWH is the God and Father of the Promise Child, for it is written, "Yahooshua said to her, 'Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'

So now truly, we are as Yahooshua is, Sons of the Most High. If we walk by the Spirit which was given to him, we also walk just as he did.

And it is written, ""I tell you the truth, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least person in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he is!"

Shalom

We were not coveting our neighbor. It was done in fun and to find out more about people. Like me saying Esther, that was because I sometimes lack the courage to say the things that need to be said. It doesn't mean I am unhappy with who I am or that I wish I was someone else.

Forgive me, I was speaking of myself when I said, "You shall not covet."
