Admin	Can't live without technology, eh? Posted : 17 Sep, 2010 09:49 AM I have just lost my cellphone (long story), and I use that phone as a modem as well. So yeah gotta stick with the fact of having no connection to the cyber world until I get a new phone, unless someone nice borrow his/her to me (like now when I write this). My question is, how much you depend on the technology, esp cellphone and the internet? Post Reply

I usually keep in contact with my parents by email, so the computer is fairly important. My cell phone is my watch, so that makes it more important than the actual calling feature itself. I don't have cable, so I rarely watch tv. I love to go camping though and leave all of that behind. So I guess you could say I'm fairly dependent on technology, but I don't necessarily need it to be content. Post Reply

View Profile History	Can't live without technology, eh? Posted : 17 Sep, 2010 09:09 PM I'm fairly dependent on it. One of the classes I'll be taking (starting Monday) is an online course. And I'm sure I'll use the computer for my other courses too. I'm also still plugging away at that website for women that I'm hoping to launch in November. And I obviously need the computer and internet for that too! My honey and I talk online every night for several hours. Except he's off visiting family right now and I am so lonely w/out him and don't even know what to do w/ my evenings =( Well, there's plenty I could do... My cell doesn't actually get used all that much, though. I've never been much of a phone person. I can take or leave the tv. Post Reply

I am going to school online so I use my computer for my school work as well as banking, paying bills, keeping in contact with friends, entertainment, and also work on a computer while at work. In an Electronic Health Record world even patient charts are now on the computer too. While I can manage without the internet or my computer for short periods of time ( like vacation and when not in school) I certainly cannot live without my cellphone. MY cellphone is my watch, alarm clock, day-planner, black book, ICE notification, mp3 player, television, and in rare cases of extreme necessity even my connection to the internet. So, yeah I'm an technology addict... Post Reply
