Separated???????Posted : 23 Aug, 2011 09:31 PMSometimes I run across profiles where the status reads separated. I wonder how you all feel about communicating with someone that is separated? I will hold my opinion to see what others think. |

Separated???????Posted : 23 Aug, 2011 09:39 PMI'm assuming you mean male-female. Considering this is a dating site, most come for (at least in the long run) a romantic type relationship. So, no, I don't think it is right to be pursuing a 'relationship' with someone being seperated, seeing as they are still legally married. |

Separated???????Posted : 24 Aug, 2011 10:59 AMPersonally, I wouldn't even consider having any type of relationship with anyone who is separated...because I believe it's wrong. And if they're divorced, then it better have been for a very legitimate reason...otherwise I won't have anything to do with them. I know that might seem harsh to some of you, but I don't believe in divorce under any circumstances except for the case that Jesus mentioned. |

Separated???????Posted : 24 Aug, 2011 12:40 PMI totally agree with both statements that have bean made. I am surprised that "separated" is even a status on this site. Someone who is separated is still married. The institution of marriage is sacred. I wonder how those who are on here trying to find someone else values marriage. |

Separated???????Posted : 24 Aug, 2011 01:19 PMIt does seem that the institute of marraige is nothing compared to what it was originally intended to be. |

Separated???????Posted : 24 Aug, 2011 09:05 PMVery true. Our culture has made it more a status than the way God intended. A man and a woman joined together as one flesh. Divorce is made easy, and more people living together out of wedlock. People get married thinking that they will be together forever, but a trial or a disagreement comes out. Thus leading to a divorce. then the man and woman go to another and the cycle goes one. It may stop, but it appears to be a game to some people. |

Separated???????Posted : 24 Aug, 2011 09:18 PMIt does seem to be a game or a cycle to some people, but let us hope that those are non-Christians. I do think though, that we have to love on everyone, and understand that in some situations (such as infidelity) one person in the marriage had no control over that. |

Separated???????Posted : 24 Aug, 2011 11:24 PMAh, I definitely didn't mean it in any negative way at all. I agree that everything involves a choice. I was meaning that we can't look badly on (for example) a woman who divorces her husband because he was unfaithful. Situations like that. |
