Unwilling to relocate for love? and happiness? finding their soulmate?

I imagine it will be difficult leaving a job, family, the known for the land of the unknown-What do others think?

For me, I've already moved 2 states. At age 49. I had no problems doing it.

But -- I'm not doing it again. Because I am now where I am supposed to be. I'll move in the same state, but not outside it.

If I didn't have family to tie me here then yes, I would move. Why not? What an adventure that would be!

If God tells me to move, I will move. Yes, I would miss my family and friends, but God and His will for my life is much more important.

There are those of us willing to relocate. Once I reach retirement or there-abouts I want to leave Calif. A long distance romance is very difficult but I have 2 niece/nephews who did it very well.

I am willing to relocate however, it is all depends. Reason is because of today's economy and the way things are now. I wil not relocate to her town because she refuse to relocate because of family only. That is wrong. Rebekah relocated to where Isaac lived. Ruth relocated to Boaz's.. What the Bible tells us? The women must relocate, not the men. They can move to anywhere God wants both of them to move. Still confused? Please read both stories about them and Genesis chap 2:24. Yes, the man leaves his parents to marry his wife.. but it did not clearly states that the man must leave his town to marry her! Only way is that you can do is to read about those two. Jesus is the Groom and we are the Bride of Christ. Jesus came to Earth and we are engaged to Christ but where we all will be living when it is time "to wed" Christ? We all will be living in Heaven with Christ. Now, the point is, the women are to relocate. Not men.

I will relocate only if there are jobs available for me and I must get that job FIRST unless she is a multi-millionaire! Hahaha.

Get my point?

I am freelance designer so that would make a little easier. However, I have to relocate my business and everything I own to where the job is, not where she is. She needs to relocate with me like it or not. Sorry! Needs to know before getting married about relocation! If she refuse even I would relocate to where the job is or if a new job comes up for me in another city after we marry, then it is better not to marry.
