We all know how the devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy, and right now, he is really trying to destroy my family. I have a rather small immediate family, a widowed mother and two sibling, an older and younger sister and we have all been very close and raised as Godly young women. Since our father passed when we were young, all we had were each other and with Christ being the head of our house, we were able to get through such a difficult time.
My family owns a small floral/gift shop, which my the grace of God has favor within our community and does well during these difficult times. However, Satan is trying to break apart our business by having two companies come against my mother and the business and sue her for over 100k over contracts they had with my father regarding the business in the past.
Additionally, my older sister/co-owner fell in love with a Christian man who Satan has used to whisper lies into her ears about our family. I'm not saying that he is a bad man in the least, but I cannot think of any "man of God" who enjoys ripping a family apart, but one who is either lost or misguided himself. Anyways, my sister is now suing my mother for over 70k based on these lies. Due to this act, my family is being ripped apart. Uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends are choosing sides between my mother or sister. My younger sister now hates our eldest sister and has disowned her rather than pray for her, my mother feels very hurt and betrayed, and I am stuck somewhere in the middle. I have been praying for this family strife to come to an end, praying for my older sister to come back to us as a family, and praying for this man who she loves.
I am constantly encouraging my mother and younger sister to still have faith and to not let their hearts be troubled and that God has a plan and a purpose, but with threat of bankruptcy looming to occur within the next two months, these words are finding their way to deaf ears. Nearly every night I receive a call from my mother in tears because the stress of finances, lawyers fees, and the betrayal of her first born is breaking her heart.
We need help. Please...please pray for my family. Please pray for these attacks on our business, my older sister, and encouragement for my mother, little sister, and myself. I feel like I am the only one in family who is praying for these things and would appreciate if I had someone out there to pray with me. Thank you.
