Posted : 30 Nov, 2010 01:39 PM this is hard to write. i'm gonna be telling personal stuff, so don't judge please! oh, this is gonna be long. first, things ain't going good with the job. my boss is real hard to work for, and not at all patience. i am trying to work and learn fast. she is hard to please. also, i think i'm being @#%$!! around! for instance: the schedule is posted on Wed in a little book. i looked carfully in the book, and was only scheduled for Wed, which i worked. i was Not scheduled again until this Friday the 3 DEC! The Friday after Thanksgiving, the assistant boss woke me up calling, wondering where i was! i told her i wasn't scheduled and volunteered to come in. She said i had been scheduled, but now head boss was too mad to deal with me!!!!!!!!!! How should i act when i go in Friday? also I'm not making a lot of money, and really need a better job! Help, God Help! Also, "and please don't judge" I was raised Lutheran, but my ex-husband was Wiccan. I practiced Wicca for a while, and even when I came back to Christianty, I still had many many Wiccan friends. These friends always knew I was Christian. They were respectful, and always listened to me. I was able to witness, and we had some good discussions! They said I was one of the few real Christians they knew, and they welcomed me on their site. Yesterday, when I loged on to the Wiccan/Pagan site, I found that the head of this site was now a Satan worshiper!I was shocked!!!!!! Her post were fowl-mouthed, and angry! She said she was fighting against Christians, and for the right of people everywhere to follow Satan! I wrote a polite post, saying goodbye, and logged off forever!!! Please pray for my friend Kelly, and did I do the right thing? Because, they did listen to me, and showed me respect. I always witnessed to them. Most Wiccan are (earth-crunching, tree-hugging, hippy types) not bad, surely needing saved, but not hard against Jesus! In studying, I found only a very small percent of what I call (Hard Core Wiccan) These are the Egiptian god worshiping, the Voodoo, and the Satan worshipers. I stayed Farrrrr away from! (they are often too angry to have intellegent conversations with anyone who disagrees with them) The others are actually currious about Christ, and accept Him as a prophet, if not Savior. Posted : 30 Nov, 2010 04:54 PM Ola Sis Debra...First things First...I believe you've been hired as a Part Time employee...which means Ya get Scheduled after All others & ya can take alota heat...Put a smile on yer face an say Yes Mame an No Mame Ima here to Serve & Be on Call...My friend applied that Attitude an now is Manager of 3 MacDonalds an bein well takein care of by the Lord Jesus...Side note...Ifin its not a GoodFit Schedule wise...maybe GOD has somethin better for ya... Second ~ Ima not be Judgein ya for bein a Wiccan in the past...an Ima be prayin for yer friends an now the not friend...Its always hard ta let go...BUT...sometimes its best ta let GOD have it so we can be used by Him in a new Venue...Hey !!! Maybe He's gona use ya to teach that mean ole Boss bout bein Nice...xo Post Reply

You truly have been inundated with "stuff" lately and I know that it's not easy to see your way through those things sometimes. I do understand, in part, some of what you've been going through. Secondly, ask God for wisdom regarding your work situation. Thank Him for His provision and ask Him how you can be a faithful servant and to go about His work with diligence. As far as how to act on Friday, be loving. You can never go wrong with being loving and kind. Third, I'm glad you've left the Wiccan site. I would urge you to be very careful about any future involvement with Wicca and Wiccan friends. While we are called to love everyone, to minister, and to share the gospel, we are wise to use some discretion in the methods we use. Also, we must keep in mind that people either follow Christ or follow Satan. Everyone worships either one or the other. So, even if your Wiccan friends are nice and respectful to you, they are still followers of Satan. We want to be careful to not get pulled into sin by the people we witness to and to not engage in their sinful lifestyles. You would need to lift each individual situation up in prayer, but what I've found is that once the gospel has been preached to someone and they've rejected it, it can be like tossing pearls before swine to continue any kind of serious friendship with that person. I'm not saying to be mean, but to not invest heavily in them. Again, though, pray about it. There really isn't any kind of cookie cutter answer for these situations. Post Reply

I shall keep looking for the right job, and in meentime, be as kind, and hard-working as I can. (and be glad I at least make enough to pay electric bill!!!!!!!!!!!) As for the Wiccan thing: I just pray for Kelly, and my other Wiccan friends. However, I think this might have been God's way of saying (ya can't ride two hosses with one arse, no matter how ample!:ROFL:) I think you both know what I mean!
