Admin	another baby update Posted : 3 Oct, 2010 06:36 PM I went back to the ER. My baby has no heartbeat and my iron levels were higher than they were on Thursday, despite having had a unit of blood removed that day and barely eating any iron. They took another unit of blood today to hopefully help prevent any organ damage in me. The doctor's best guess as to why the baby's heart stopped is because of either general iron toxicity or damage specifically to the developing heart. I was given the option of having a d&c or letting the baby pass naturally at home. And I decided to come home. So, I can expect to miscarry sometime in the next few hours or few days... Please keep me in your prayers. I'm very emotionally and physically exhausted and need strength to get through this. Post Reply
