Family Health Part 2Posted : 1 Sep, 2010 03:46 PMMy ultrasounds all came out clear! PTL! The bleeding has totally stopped and the pain I still have is directly related to the food I eat. So, Fri. I go for a LAST test. They will inject dye, feed me, and then, monitor whether my gall bladder actually produces bile. If it does, the diagnosis is chronic gastritis that will need to be control with acid reducers. If it doesn't, I will have to have my gall bladder removed. |

Family Health Part 2Posted : 10 Sep, 2010 05:43 PMThe good news is that the cancer is not melanoma. It is morphed basal cell. The not so good news is that the original tumor is in Dad's cheek and a little larger than a quarter. They will not know until they do the surgery how much tissue has been effected and how much of his face will need to be removed. The reconstruction surgery will take place at the same time unless they must remove his entire nose. If that is the case, he will have to return to have a prosthetic nose put in. Surgery isn't until the 30th. |
