Family Health Part 2

My ultrasounds all came out clear! PTL! The bleeding has totally stopped and the pain I still have is directly related to the food I eat. So, Fri. I go for a LAST test. They will inject dye, feed me, and then, monitor whether my gall bladder actually produces bile. If it does, the diagnosis is chronic gastritis that will need to be control with acid reducers. If it doesn't, I will have to have my gall bladder removed.

Dad won't be having surgery until at least the week of the 13th. It will be a hard wait.

The judge threw out a suit that my ex had brought against me for lack of cause. He has now filed for a pre-trial hearing with a different judge. Please pray that this judge rules in my favor also.

My dear sweet Rose,

I lift up continued prayers for your dad. May God continue to bless him with

His strength and encouragement. May the Doctors be led by Gods mighty hands,

and they successfully perform this procedure and get everything infected by

this Cancer, thus, not able to spread to any other tissues, cells, blood, or bone.

Jesus I lift up my sister Rose to you. I thank you for the good news so far with

her health. I pray these upcoming tests and procedures prove to be in Roses

favor. That the pain and discomfort can be treated by medication and diet.

Jesus, I also lift up this law suit and have the same out come as the privous

law suit.

In Your precious name I pray, Amen and Amen

Just wanted to let you know that I'm still praying. I hope your test yesterday went well (and hopefully they didn't feed you disgusting food?).

Good News!!!

LOL, my gall bladder is above average. The diagnosis is acute gastritis due to continuous naproxen (Aleve) use.

I'm on acid reducers and am to limit foods that increase acid production. Come this fall when I take naproxen around the clock due to my arthritis, I'll need to switch to a prescription med that isn't as harsh on the stomach. I knew that naproxen could cause stomach upset, but didn't know that it could do this much damage. That's why there is a warning to consult your doc!!!

Dad meets with the surgeon this Fri. the 10th.

You all have been great through this. Thanks so very, very much!

Rose

The good news is that the cancer is not melanoma. It is morphed basal cell. The not so good news is that the original tumor is in Dad's cheek and a little larger than a quarter. They will not know until they do the surgery how much tissue has been effected and how much of his face will need to be removed. The reconstruction surgery will take place at the same time unless they must remove his entire nose. If that is the case, he will have to return to have a prosthetic nose put in. Surgery isn't until the 30th.

Thank you for your prayers!

Praise the Lord for the good report on your health and on your job being reinstated! I will continue praying for your father. That IS good news that it is not melanoma. My grandmother had melanoma.
