Admin	My Family Posted : 12 Jun, 2010 10:37 PM My dad emailed me this morning to tell me that he and my mom are getting a divorce, and my mom will be moving into her own place by the end of summer. They have been married for 29 years. I am so incredibly frustrated with my mom, this is all her fault. My parents are getting a divorce because she is unwilling to let go and forgive my dad for something that happened 20 years ago. She has been telling me about it and how little my dad actually cares about me since I was 14/15 (for about 10 years) and I believed her until last year. My dad thinks that everything is being done in a reasonable manner, but my mom has been planning this for at least a year and her plans have been anything but reasonable. She took her name off everything, so my dad would take over all the bills - and she did this because she knows that my dad would be unable to make ends meet so it would force him to find a better job (he really loves his current jobs) and/or force him to find a new place of residence. It makes me so mad how my mom treats my dad. Post Reply

Show you are the better person and forgive your mother. Let go of the bitterness/ that will eat you up if you do not let go. Trust me. Can you speak to your Pastor or other religious leader? This is not your fault and unfortunately, parents are not perfect.
