I am really battling with men who think I am not pretty enough. I am feeling so worthless and feeling that I will never be good enough to anyone. I am trying very hard not to be discouraged but it's hard when you get hurt because your not pretty enough you know? If you have the love of the Lord then in all honesty people would look at it from God's point of view. I know the Lord will help me through this. Thank you for being there for me. Start telling yourself that everyday! Yes, when others hurt us, no it doesn't feel good at all, and you start doubting yourself, and second guessing things about you that you had firmly set and been determined about before. You know, it's like we got an angel sitting on the right shoulder and a little devil on the left shoulder. Both of them bidding for time to play the fiddle each time we hiccup in life circumstances. The angel says "she got this, she can handle it, dust off her feet, holds her head up high....", then the little rotten red devil on the left is just waiting, waiting for her to fall flat on her face, then he yells "yes, she ain't gonna make it! I got her right where I want her. She'll never come out of this!" Just as you are strong in the Lord, be also as dligent in believing and calling those things that be not as though they were (scripture) Your faith, stand on it, no matter what. James 1:23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; 24. for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was. I have to look at me sometime, and remember what it is I said I beleived in and the God I serve, and why I believe. Then when I look back at me again, I'm ok. What I believe affects how I see myself. And that shows in my appearance and how I express myself. You know "who" you are, who you belong to (GOD). Just be in anticipation for how God will answer your deepest desires. They want model type women because they feel they are their prized possession. I find it rather sad!! I know God will send me the right man. Thanks for the encouragement. You would not want to be with someone who only looks at the outward beauty anyway. You are beautiful and especially in God's eyes.
