Admin	Please pray for me Posted : 27 Jul, 2013 01:13 PM The strangest thing occurred. I went for a walk last night and I prayed. I like to pray when I go on a walk. Anyways I was talking with GOD about my father issues. And well He answered back which means I heard Him. Not physically but in my head. I know that kinda thing is debated but I believe GOD speaks to us in our minds because I've heard Him many times before. And when He does speak I know when its Him as the Bible says the sheep will know His voice. Well anyways His answer to this is what has me puzzled. Pastor Thor my Pastor came up in the conversation. GOD knows how I look up to Pastor Thor and see him as a father figure. Can't hide anything from GOD that's for sure. Well GOD told me that He will make a way for Pastor Thor to be the earthly father for me. And I answered back and told GOD how that's viewed as inappropriate I'm a grown woman and how I have been told I'm only to look at GOD, my earthly Dad Mark and my step-dad Danny as father's. Well GOD said people have misunderstood and He has put Pastor Thor in my life for the very purpose of being a father to me. GOD told me that He will use Pastor Thor to be an earthly father to me so I can learn what father's do and how to have a relationship with one so that I will grow in my relationship with GOD as my Father. GOD said at the moment I'm unable to grow more in my relationship with Him as Father cause of lack of experience and the way my brain works cause of my disability (I have PDD-NOS) I'm only able to learn from pictures, movies, shows or experience. So I asked Him why doesn't He just cure me. Alot of problems would be solved. He plans to use my disability for His glory. I told Him that the Church I go to will probably be against it and He said He would fix it. I brought up later on that Pastor Thor may lose his job cause of it and GOD simply answered that Pastor Thor will not lose his job and GOD will take of everything. This isn't the first time GOD has said all this to me either. But I would ignore it before thinking maybe I was mistaken or had misunderstood or something. But this GOD has repeated to me several times. So would you also pray on all this for me please?? Post Reply

It is acceptable for someone like a pastor to serve as a father-figure. I have a friend that serves as a father-figure for my nephew as his earthly father does not set a positive example. We should look to others for examples of Christian living. I pray for your continued growth in understanding of our Heavenly Father. And you are setting a great example of how God can use anyone as His spokesperson...He doesn't call the able, He equips the willing! Post Reply
