Admin	Prayer for my kids Posted : 9 May, 2012 02:02 PM I would like to ask for prayer for myself but more so for my 2 children. I just found out that I may have cancer and the doctor revoked my ability to drive because of the way it is effecting me. Please pray that the Lord would give my children and I peace in whatever His Will is and that my kids will be alright. Thank you Post Reply

And I know your kids don't know me from Adam, but I have two boys, and if I had to tell them something like that,,,well I just can't imagine. View Profile History	Prayer for my kids Posted : 12 May, 2012 09:30 AM I'll add a little more here, Yesterday I was painting the outside of a house that belongs to some friends of mine. I'm not being paid to do the work, and I was there by myself, yet after hearing what I did from my doctor, I enjoyed the work far more than I ever had before because I felt closer to the Lord. I felt safe, protected and loved - more than usual. It was as if there was a child in me, and the Lord had that child's undivided attention. Not in a scary disciplining way, but in a warm, safe and wonderful way and nothing else mattered because that child loved Him. I didn't have to worry about myself or my children because I knew God was so good that He had it all under control. Instead of playing scenarios through my mind and longing for more life I found myself feeling incredibly grateful for the life I'd been given and for the opportunities I've had to come to know the Lord. O Lord! may you render the heavens and come down and heal my brother. Father, healing is our divine right. Jesus, by His stripes, secured healing for us from all manner os sicknesses and diseases. Do it we pray, that our dear one will receive a miracle for your glory. Thank You because you say "Call unto me and I will answer". It's great to know we have Him in control of our lives...wouldn't we be a mess without Him?! I know that I know that I know my Lord has carried me through unspeakable hurt. He knew I couldn't walk on my own, so He picked me up as if to say, "I've got you. Don't be afraid." That's what He's saying to you Max!!! He's got you in His arms. They are strong enough to carry any burden...don't be afraid!! God will take care of it all!! It's so encouraging to hear how you felt while working. What an amazing feeling that must have been! I'm soo glad you feel encouraged by it. If it takes it, print it out and hang it somewhere in your house as a reminder! Nothing takes the place of His Word, but I know sometimes God can send a friend to help. Not that I'm anyone special! God uses those willing to let Him, and you're one of the ones He uses. Keep hangin on!! When my dad pastored his last church, he had in bold black letters on the wall above his pulpit NEVER GIVE UP. Joel Osteen spoke on tv one night and talked about our 'NO'S" and our YES's. He said we may have to go through a lot of no's in our lives, things that don't go the way we want them to, but the YES'S ARE ON THE WAY!! What if we gave up after two no's and the yes was the third answer!! Praise the Lord! THE YES'S ARE ON THE WAY!!! Post Reply
