Admin	hiccup in a relationship Posted : 3 Sep, 2011 09:21 PM It may sound a little stupid, but I had a disagreement with my girlfriend, Victoria, tonight, I wanted to be honest and upfront with her, I'd hung out with a few of my friends who were drinking and even participated, that's not at all like me, I've been under alot of stress lately since I'm deploving with my unit in a few days. but it's no excuse. She of course was deeply concerned. She just got out of an abusive relationship involving the use of alcohol right before meeting me and broke down into tears. She was right and I knew it, I made a terrible choice. We worked it out and everything's ok, I just need prayer to remain strong throughout this next year that i'll be deployed and prayer that my family and Victoria will be comforted in my absence. I also made a heafty promise to never touch alcohol again, which has never been a problem in the past, I also ask prayer to keep my promise to my girlfriend, myself, and God I plan on asking Victoria to marry me when I get back and she knows it already. We are very serious about each other and put our relationship in God's hands. God Bless everyone :glow: Post Reply
