Hello my fellow prayer warriors. I have a request that needs to be taken to the Lord tonight but I would like to tell you the story behind it first.
This morning, my parents' were supposed to take a trip out of town with my grandparents but around 7:00am, my grandmother called and said that there were police at each the end of the road that I live on and that they were not allowing anyone, save for residents, on the road and that we would have to come to the end of the road to meet her.
So, I drove my parent's out to meet them and started on my way back, but on my way back to the road, the officer asked me questions about where I was going? Why was I going there? How long had I been gone? After telling him I was only trying to return home, he let me pass but told me to stay away from the old dumpter site on the road.
Well, I am a nosy woman so I set out to see what I could see and after interrogating and annoying all of the local law enforcement, I found out that there had been a call in at 5:30am this morning stating that there was a car was on fire down by the old dumpster site. After the fire department responded and put out the blaze, they were astonished with what they found inside the charred remains of the car. Two bodies. Due to evidence on the scene, they have reason to believe that the victims were killed prior to being placed in the car and then the car was set on fire to destroy the evidence. The deceased persons have been sent off for testing and identification. Their bodies were so badly burned that the police on the scene could not identify whether the two were male, female, young or old. They will most likely have to be identified through dental records.
This was right on the road where I live! Two people were murdered merely 500 feet from my home where my family was sleeping! It could have been them.
I live in a very small community where, until now, we didn't feel the need to have to lock our doors at night. Everybody knows everybody else's business and to think that someone among us has taken the most precious gift that those two people were ever given; their lives. Things like this just do not happen here and our small town is in shock and terror. I ask that you pray with me tonight that the murderer of these poor people be caught before another innocent life is taken and that jusice will be done. Also, please pray for the families of the victims for they will soon find out that their loved one died in a most horrible manner and please pray that, in some way, God will use this tragedy in a way that will lead lost souls to him because no one knows if they are promised tomorrow.

There have been two more murders since the one I have written about and the Police Department think that there is a serial killer so please continue to remember this in your prayers. The bodies fromt he burned car have both been identified. A male and a female and both were friends of mine and their familes are heartbroken. Please remember them in your prayers also. God is faithful and I believe He will take care of things. :)
