Please pray for my friend, his wife and her parents. A tornado took the roof off their house and they've lost most all of their worldly possessions. His big diesel truck was flipped up side down. I have no doubt that God will take this situation and make some good from it, but I'd like for y'all to pray for their mental well-being in the meantime. This would seem to be an easy target for the enemy, but I'd like for y'all to be in agreement with me that He will protect their minds and bodies from any wayward assault attempt. This I pray in His name, Jesus Christ the Lord, Amen! :)

Thank You, Love Y'all! :)

Y'all are SO awesome!! :yay:

They found a hotel room (no electricity) last night and got some necessities and clothes to last a few days at Wal-Mart in Toupalo. Today, they went back to the house and started trying to find anything salvageable. Melissa (wife) said it was extremely emotional and slow-going. The whole town of Smithville was demolished, from what I understand. God can do some great things from all this!!

Thank you all for your continued prayers! :)

They started clearing the whole town of Smithville early Monday, so anything that hadn't been found, is lost. They were able to salvage some clothes, 2 laptops and her camera (she's a photographer at Columbus Air Force Base). They've been looking for a house to buy so they can go ahead and get everything approved and be ready as soon as an insurance check is received.

Thank you for keeping them in their prayers. :)

My prayers go up for all of these families, it could be any of us and we all need to pray for each other during this turbulent time everywhere!

My heart and prayers go out to the Thomas Lee family of Asheville, Alabama, as he died laying on his son to protect him and his dying words were "take care of the family." His son is in his 20s and there are 13 kids and the mom left to survive.

The outpouring of love and help to the family from the community is huge and that makes me glad to know that God is working through people.

Who knows what tomorrow hold? But, we know that God holds tomorrow. :purpleangel:
