Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned

I think the title pretty much sums up my experience with a few of the female forum participants.

What was the reason for the reactions I experienced?

I spoke my mind based on God's word, my research and experience in the modern male/female relations and interactions and the reactions of certain members here.

What did I experience?

Predominantly a bunch of name calling and falsehoods directed at me and other men along with a concerted effort to have me removed from the site.

Did I handle things in an expert and Godly manner?

I would have to say both yes and no.

I'm not here to troll people with my controversial post which shouldn't even be controversial but Christianity has been so watered down by modern society that most Churches, if any, don't even teach women/wives that they're supposed to be submissive to their husbands. Now some Churches may teach it in passing but not really teach the real importance of it. And then we have the example of divorce. How many Churches actually teach the seriousness of divorce? From what I've seen virtually all Churches accept divorce for any reason in their congregations. Would that same thing have been tolerated in the Church 150 or more years ago? We all know the answer.

So does that mean that in these modern times we have become more enlightened to God's word and have discovered that what the scriptures said about marriage/divorce and being submissive back then doesn't mean the same thing now? I would say that's a hard and fast NO! Examples of the reasons why those two reinterpretations and many others in the teaching and attitudes of Christians have brought a whole lot of problems to marriages and the well-being of children.

The predominant reason I'm so controversial is that I point out mainly how women are contributing to the downfall of marriage and the family but I also don't leave men out either. I concentrate mainly on women because they have been given the power by our current society to do things that God never empowered them to do. Because of this that power has been used in a destructive manner and for lack of a better word has been very destructive.

Since much power over the family and marriage has been taken out of the hands of men then the burden to fix things falls on women. Women need to turn their face towards Jesus and sincerely repent and ask for guidance and do what Jesus tells them and ignore what society has been telling them. Pastors also need to stop watering down the scriptures out of fear of losing the women in the Church.

I will say this in closing. I'm not at all surprised by the reaction of some on here, but at the same time very disappointed. I prefer dialog over small minded reactions.
