Posted : 30 Jul, 2024 05:28 PM A marriage that pleases the Lord is a marriage that walks through the narrow door; of two people who already walked the narrow path with the Lord, and who will now walk together on this narrow path towards heaven. It is better to continue alone with the Lord on the narrow path, than put your alliance with the Lord in danger! Whoever loves the Lord will choice this narrow path! And you will have an alliance with the Lord as a priority, and you will not give up the narrow door for anyone or anything. Amém. “13Go in through the narrow gate; for the gate that leads to destruction is wide and the road broad, and many travel it; 14but it is a narrow gate and a hard road that leads to life, and only a few find it." Mt 7:13-14. Because who would want to marry someone who didn't even walk through the narrow gate to eternity with you? I don't think anyone who truly fears and loves the Lord would. Jesus provided several parables that may help explain the narrow gate. I’m not going to quote the parables at this point except to say this. The parables make it clear that following Jesus will be a very difficult road to travel. For example, friends may leave you, family members may disinherit you or you might go to jail. You might be accused falsely. Your commitment to Jesus must be 100%. All these lessons are illustrated in the parables that Jesus taught AND by example. Not only by the example of Jesus but by example of his prophets and apostles from beginning to end of scripture. Following the ways of God is hard. Post Reply

The Bible commands everyone to periodically examine themselves to make sure they really are in the faith. 2 Corinthians 13:5 👉👉👉Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith👈👈👈; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test? Moonlight, have you ever once obeyed this scripture⁉️ The Bible also commands you to test the spirits to see if they are from God. Have you obeyed that scripture by testing everything your teachers tell you⁉️ Post Reply
