The application of Christian moral standards in society

Hi guys. I am interested in hearing some opinions of the mentioned topic. There have been - and are still - different ways of seeing this, and also very different ways of applying it in society. Keywords which can be valuable to keep in mind may be the Old and the New Covenant and the differences between those.



So... How should Christian moral standards - preferably derived from the Bible - be applied in today's world and society?

This is a good example.

We are to show Gods love to the homosexual and preach repentance to them.

But we are not to accept the special rights they want,

such as marriage and adapting children. We have a duty to stop it. We have a duty to support Gods laws in love not hate.

do not harm them but pray for them.Dennis

I would have to say that as a Christian, the first thing would be to review all governmental laws and policies to see if they contradict God's Word. The ones that do not contradict God's Word we will keep and the ones that do contradict we get rid of. If that is accomplished we wont have to try getting prayer back in school because it will have already been there.
