Have you been CONDEMMNED by others as having an "UNBIBLICAL DIVORCE" ?Posted : 2 Feb, 2012 11:28 PMThanks to a question about divorce and remarriage posted on another thread, I felt the need to address those on this site who may be suffering from the weight of guilt and condemnation heaped on them because of their reasons for divorce. |

Have you been CONDEMMNED by others as having an "UNBIBLICAL DIVORCE" ?Posted : 25 Jun, 2014 09:51 PMYeah>..Well that's only if they repent and are still in Messiah. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. 1 Samuel 15:23 It cost Saul his kingship and maybe even his salvation from other passages. It will cost the rebellious woman the same. It will also cost the rebellious man. Being an Idol worshiper is to be the same as an adulterer. The lukewarm believers Messiah will spit out of his body... So much for the adulterers and adulteresses....... |

Have you been CONDEMMNED by others as having an "UNBIBLICAL DIVORCE" ?Posted : 26 Jun, 2014 06:25 AMSinger, your words, "only if they repent and are still in Messiah", are NOT in the commands that God has given to husbands. Read them again: |

Have you been CONDEMMNED by others as having an "UNBIBLICAL DIVORCE" ?Posted : 30 Jun, 2014 07:57 PMI know where your coming from and it's true in context when the wife has a heart toward Yahweh and wants the truth. Yet I have seen those who don't want it and even said out of their own mouths that they didn't care for the truth nor the warnings on adultery etc. They were led away by their lusts for another man not because the husband wasn't bitter toward her. He may have been bitter toward her for doing adultery I would be too and A DIVORCE DECREE SHE WOULD GET AS MESSIAH SAID THE HUSBAND CAN DO IN MATTHEW 19. LOT'S WIFE DIDN'T GET A 2ND CHANCE. NEITHER DID JEZEBEL in Revelation chapter 2. Reprobates exist and why they're mentioned in the bible. I have never seen an adulteress come back and never do it again in ministry experience. I know it's possible it's in the word and I have heard from others of it happening but not in all the failed marriages I've seen and even counseled as well as other pastors and such helping counsel. A hardened heart toward Yahweh will take someone very far away.... Yet a man should not be bitter toward his wife and not forgive when she repents for whatever adverse reason and yes he should restore her through communication lovingly yes..... |

Have you been CONDEMMNED by others as having an "UNBIBLICAL DIVORCE" ?Posted : 1 Jul, 2014 09:37 AMSinger, you continue to defend yourself and others while ignoring God's command to husbands. We are not talking about Jezebel or Lot's wife here, but God's command to husbands: |

Have you been CONDEMMNED by others as having an "UNBIBLICAL DIVORCE" ?Posted : 2 Jul, 2014 11:45 PMNot ignoring his commands at all. I'm also considering his commands in Matthew 19 and saying they should be acted upon. My advice is in light of His. Divorce the sexually unfaithful woman.Move on and go get a faithful one who loves Yahweh by her actions being faithful. Don't waste your time with a cheater. A cheater is always a repeater LOL. Husbands don't be bitter with your wives and work things out unless your bitter for her adultery. Get rid of her and the bitterness will pass away just as her breeze heading out the door as she goes to live for the devil as most ultimately do! Sad but true... |

Have you been CONDEMMNED by others as having an "UNBIBLICAL DIVORCE" ?Posted : 8 Jul, 2014 11:03 PMSorry that you can see that in Matthew 19 the same one who told husbands to love their wives also said in Matthew 19 that they could remarry if their mate was sexually unfaithful and He wouldn't count it as adultery.... There's balance between His commands not a provision for a wayward wife under the bitter clause ! Messiah Himself was bitter about adultery even in the heart and warned of the guilty being in danger of hell.... How much more one doing it physically even willfully despite. I'm not defending my position I'm standing on Messiah's position as well as his provision !!!Keep all his words in actual context and actual application .... Don't take away or add to his words or build a complete doctrine out of one verse as you're doing...... |
