Even beer or wine can get you drunk. Some believe it's not a sin if you drink in moderation. Your thoughts and scripture welcome. CHRISTIANS ONLY Post Reply

Alcohol has no place in a Believers life. We can ask Jesus to deliver us from that Habit if we have it. Jesus answers prayer! Post Reply

Jesus would wait until drinking the cup new with His disciples.. Luke 22:18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come. 19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. 20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. Ecclesiastes 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. 1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Can you not believe even in His words to be born of Him to sin not ? John 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 1 John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. Wine with merry heart in moderation is not a sin ,but God's gift. But being drunk is a sin and is of Satan. The same with food . Eating in moderation is a gift of God . But gluttony is sin as well as abusing wine and beer. Sadly, many so-called Christians became as modern day pharisees whom Satan blinded with so-called laws that are not in the New Testament. Some people vsnnt drink so alcohol won't become a trap for addition. If a Christian drinks it cause someone to stumble in their Christian walk. Some people cannot drink without getting drunk at One point in their Life. Christians don't justify things Just because they want to do some things!! Post Reply
